I can never repeat a a pour over, or aeropress. How does the fucking coffee change so drastically with same settings. I do not understand. I'm even doing coarse grind on aeropress and I only nailed the brew once. Been chasing it with the letty bermudez and can't find the sweetness nor the peach. What gives?

You can't get the flavor to impart without doing it through the fermentation process, unless your beans have been ground to increase absorbtion, unfortunately this makes it go bad faster and the quality drops.I've had fantastic blueberry infused coffee, but nothing compares to a blueberry co-ferment.

Did you stir it?i used a stainless steel mug that has no thermal conductivity so i maxed out the heat on my resistive stove. it takes maybe 5 minutes for that to get to boiling temperature. i stir it to distribute prior to heating and then the most i do is move the cup gently to maybe move the heat around
I'm pretty sure Turkish-style brewing requires rapid heating, hence the sand and copper for quick energy transfer. I could be wrong though.

which roaster is known for quality espressos? I've tried panther and sterling. They both seem too tobacco/smokey, but they were not dark roast. Any others I should try? I've been doing turbo shots for my light roasts but the others prefer traditional style espressos.
