I'm having trouble finding ketchup packets that can be torn at the top, parallel to the packet and squeezed out, like mayo packets like the attached image.I really dislike generic ketchup packets because they are weird to open. I understand that it's probably easier to produce them that way, it's just inconvenient and since mayo packets do it the right way, I wanted to find out if there are any ketchup packets that are similar to them.
>>21614040>I really dislike generic ketchup packets because they are weird to open. Can you elaborate? I've always just torn the top at a diagonal so the corner is torn off into a small hole to dispense. Where are you struggling with this and why do mayo packets sometimes come in special packets?
>>21614047Probably about 50% of Heinz ketchup packets have misaligned front and back sides. So this causes 2 main issues: i) it's hard to tear off without mangling the packet, ii) it tends to rip from one side to the other instead of creating a small notch at the corner.I think I've found one alternative on Amazon. Image is attached. It's not the style I really would like, but it seems like it would improve the issues I'm having.
>>21614040>I'm having trouble finding ketchup packets that can be torn at the topheinz did them last decade, you know the one that you could use it as a dipping cup or rip the top off and squeeze it outwendy's had them, not sure what places still go the extra mile for us
>>21614075I've never had these problems with a ketchup packet in recent memory. Those heinz cups are terrible though; can't twist off the top and if there is any oil on your fingers because you wanted a hot fry first, you're never opening it. Maybe try carrying a pocket knife with you so you can use the scissors to just cut open your condiment packets. Or stop eating fast food that uses packets.
Just carry a bottle, idiot.
>>21614103>Maybe try carrying a pocket knife with you so you can use the scissors to just cut open your condiment packetsNTA but I've got a tiny keychain sized swiss army knife that I use the scissors to open popsicles with.
>>21614040On the spectrum where you at on the scale that you struggle opening ketchup packets
>>21614693How can I quantify "I'm capable of opening them easily, I just find small details about them annoying"?I guess it's autism/10.
Do you own a restaurant? Do people buy ketchup packets for home? Why not tear the corner of a regular packet? What form of autism is this?
>>21614040I assume you're a business owner OP and I honestly think you should just stick to the "classic" albeit flawed heinz packaging. There's too much a nostalgia movement and there's too few a places where specific ketchup placement is necessary people will be unappreciative to sarcastically pissy about fancy ketchup packets.Mayo that usually is something targeted, but ketchup is either a dip or globbed onto a burger bun. There's such a swing against new shit right now you're best with the old cheap heinz packets over the fancy ones or another brand.
and if you need to supplement it for sandwiches or hot dogs or something, just go with a spray bottle with cheap supplementary packets.Don't overthink things like ketchup packets or you're gonna screw yourself in all the wrong ways.
>>21614134Nigga what? You just grab the base and slide the sleeve down until the tip pokes out. You know, like an uncircumcised dick.
>>21614040I can’t speak to the taste (never had it) but Sir Kensington’s ketchup packets appear to be the style you’re looking for
>>21615468Or maybe not, I’m having a hard time telling
