I clean them, but I don't need them to be 100% spotless. That pan looks like my pan. The middle is where the food is cooked. As long as that looks good, everything's fine.

Is barkeepers friend any good with ceramic nonstick pans that have discolored build up without damaging the nonstick coating?

picrel is the pan but the cream colored surface is tarnished almot to a coffee color

Considering I use primarily use steel pans, yes I have to. I also have a proper carbon steel wok that i wash too but you don't need to scrub those.
