Do you ever refrigerate fast food and reheat it later?
>>
>>21617872
Reheated fries and other McDonald's is generally not great. It's the microwave, you gotta reheat fries in oil and a mcrib in the oven off the bun
>>
I think virtually all fast-food burgers become inedible if not consumed right away, especially if its got lettuce in it

I don't order it in the first place.
>>
>>21617872
Taco Bell can be okay the next day, but beyond that their beans really start to taste funky
>>
When Popeyes was selling 8pc for $4-5 (forgot how much) on 4/20 several years ago, I bought two boxes from one location, two from another and two from a third, ate some that day and froze the rest for future eats. So yes, but only that one time.
>>
no, i dont refrigerate it

Oh yeah fried chicken would be fine as leftovers.
>>
>>21617872
If I can't finish it I jut throw it away or give it to one of my siblings. Never thought about reheating, that sounds disgusting
>>
>>21617876
get an air fryer. shit tastes better after giving it a whack in the ole AF than it does off the line
>>
>>21617893
>>21617915
Taco Bell and KFC/Popeyes are the only fast food that can be reheated and taste reasonably okay. Any of the burger joints are fucking AIDS if you don't eat it fresh. I'll give fast food burger stuff to my dogs if I can't eat it all that sitting.
>>
>>21617872
Pizza but nothing else. Cold pizza is awful. I would never reheat burgers/tacis/döner etc. If I don't finish it I just put it aside and usually finish it a few hours later if I don't I thrown it away but that only happens if I don't like it. I don't refrigerate it
>>
>>21617930
lol
I don't even smoke and never have but I thought it was funny af that they did that deal on 4/20. They knew what they were doing lmao
It's fucking weird, too. Two of the locations I went to are on the same street a mile apart.
>>
>>21617872
No.
>>
>>21617876
Wrap your sandwich in a paper towel to prevent the moisture loss in the bun.
>>
mcdonalds doesn't need to be refrigerated, you just let it get cold. i've eaten fast food burgers 24 hours after purchase with no side effects. just not as hot and tasty
>>
>>21618075
Bread doesn’t do well in the freezer.
>>
>>21617886
How did that guy make it home after that
>>
>>21618210
Bread gets freezer burn and freezer taste. You don’t know what you’re talking about.
>>
>>21618219
No, even in plastic this still happens.
>>
>>21618209
stinkily
>>
>>21617893
Yeah, I've refrigerated Bean Burritos a few times. The beans really don't keep that well at least taste-wise. Same for anything else beany like the Cheesy Bean & Rice Burrito
>>
>>21618209
with a car you can go anywhere.
>>
>>21617872
no, i leave it in the bag next to me until i feel like eating it.
sometimes overnight.
>>
>>21617872
i once heard from a taco johns employee that some people would order 50+ tacos on taco tuesday and freeze most of them for later. i would suck off a shotgun before i got to that point
>>
>>21618505
I can't imagine I'd even feel like eating them after like 3 days of them
>>
>>21617872
No I eat it cold at 3am while shit faced.

things like the stacker, quesadilla, or whatever consists of just cheese/meat and perhaps a sauce will be okay for a few days. any vegetables besides onions will be pretty nasty after getting reheated (and the sour cream lmao)
>>
>>21618633
Yeah like if it's a soft taco without the lettuce that would okay. Hell, might even be better reheated since the cheese will melt.
>>
>>21617872
The only """people""" I've ever known to actually do this were all unapologetically white trash.
>>
>>21618041
Pizza isn't fast food troglodyte.
>>
>>21617872
I actually like cold Big Macs and whoppers, something about the chilled mayo (or mayo sauce) is enjoyable
>>
>>21617872
Cheeseburgers reheat really well actaully. Usually have a few in the fridge for emergency situations.
>>
>>21617872
No because then it's not fast food, just delayed food
>>
I have found that the McDouble is th only fast food item that actually reheats well in the micro even without disassembling
>>
>>21617872
One time a friend and I made the White Castle stuffing for Thanksgiving so we got a Crave Case and refrigerated it the night before.
>>
>>21619764
Wasn't there a guy here who bought a crave case, dried it out in a dehydrator and used it to make Thanksgiving stuffing? Or did I dream that up?

I don’t know why anyone would. It’s not needed for the recipe.
>>
>>21617872
No when I order fast food it's to binge on it immediately when I get home.It all goes in my belly where it belongs, and not in the fridge.
>>
>>21617872
if you don't eat McDonald's within like 5 minutes of it coming off the grill you might as well toss it in the trash
>>
>>21617915
>$4-5 (forgot how much)
$4.20 perhaps?
>>
>>21618784
>Pizza isn't fast food
>>
Carryout pizza actually tastes better cold. Sometimes I will order a pizza and just have 1 slice fresh to tide me over and throw the rest into the fridge to have the next day.

Fazoli's would beg to differ.
>>
>>21620037
Nah. I know it was either $3.99 or $4.99, I just don't remember which. I think it was $4.99 but I find it hard to believe people would chimp out over that price. It's good not not /that/ good. $3.99? That's a price to go apeshit over.
>>
>>21617872
No
I just leave it out until I want to eat more of it
>>
>>21620043
shit tier pizza doesnt count. nobody cares you can get little ceasars through the drive thru.
>>
>>21617872
Taco Bell had an offer of one quesarito per 2.99€ not so long ago. I bought 5 at a time and kept 3 in the fridge to eat one per day and the rest in the freezer. It works just well.
>>
>>21620709
>a mall mcdonald's isn't fast food cuz you can't drive through it
lmao
>>
>>21617872
I love when they are cold
>>
>>21618209
That is a college student and they probably live on campus, so their dorm is likely within stumbling distance. He just looks like shit because whites age like shit, but this was me at every football game when I lived on campus.
>>
>>21620149
I wish there were more of these. I love drive thru pasta.
>>
>>21619764
This is fun to do once, and then you realize it doesn’t really taste that different from regular stuffing, and then you never do it again.
