HOLY SHIT $15 MOTHER FUCKING 99 FOR THIS CAT SHIT CUISINE. How has Subway not gone out of business yet?
>>
>>21618227
The time of their demise draws near
>>
>>21618227
Soon I hope, Subway is and has always been putrid. Yes even back then.
>>
>>21618227
belongs in the trash
>>
>>21618227
Where I live, subway sends aggressive discounts via coupons, something like 3x footlongs for $20, you have to buy 3 tho.
I'm sure the franchise owner is are screaming internally every time I go with a coupon.
>>
The only thing good at subway is the meatball sub
>>
>>21618227
Honestly I think the rise of Fast Casual is what led to the bottom tier chains going up.
In the 90s and even the 00s, Subway's main competition was perceived as McDonalds and Burger King. Their ads were focused on showing how their veggie-heavy sandwiches compared to McDonalds Grey ketchup is a vegetable burgers.
Today Subway sees its competition as Jersey Mikes and Jimmy Johns. That's a big problem because it means they see themselves as having to step up their game, once you're in a competition to improve food quality on one end and please franchise owners on another end, you end up with prices doubling.
Same thing happens with burgers, where McDonalds used to just have to beat out Burger King and Wendy's now they see themselves as trying to compete with Shake Shack and that imo has led to poor decisions on everyone's end.
Most of it is because it's easier to start a restaurant if it's a franchise Banks are more willing to give a loan out to "A New Chipotle in town" than some random Mexican woman who wants to start a Taco place using her recipes she learned from her abuela. The News coverage in the area is gonna spend 2 months hyping up the new Chipotle they're putting in, people are gonna talk about it in the neighborhood. They may even have some event opening.
Some bitch named Maria who is selling better meat on better tortillas with a soul touching guacamole will be lucky to get 6 people coming in her first week open.

Because their operating costs are so low that 10 retarded boomers / pointless student bastards keep them afloat from one month to the next
>>
>>21618227
you voted for this
>>
>>21618369
You DO realize that makes it $6.66 per sandwich... right?

Pretending to give a shit about the scary satan number when it comes up as part of some math equation is 100% LARPing and you should be swirlied for it 6.66 times.
>>
>>21618369
NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! DO NOT REDEEM!!!!!!
>>
The two near me don’t accept promotions or coupons. Plus you have to walk into Walmart to get the sandwich
>>
Sub way has the most bullshit advertisement to what you are actually getting.
most shit from other restaurants looks like what they show you and have the same proportions, you just dont know the actual size

subway does not look like the shit they show you, bread is completely different and its so much smaller, shits not even a foot long and they bullshit the edges to have a taper. its also no where near as filled.

sub way is the most scam advertisement

The app. lol
You're a retard.
>>
>>21618230
15-20 years ago it wasn't great but at least it was cheap. Now it's even worse and expensive. So it used to at least have value back then.

Subway has always been trash, but they used to be five dollar foot long trash. Who's paying $16 for the worst sandwich shop sandwich?
>>
>>21619160
makes me wonder why subway exploded but Quiznos didnt
>>
>>21619156
This is all fast food. People can't get a decent rent and these places think they can raise prices when wages aren't going up? When quality of food and service is going down?

I feel sorry for the people who are shelling out so much money for such terrible, soulless, factory chemical sludge. Double the calories of the same basic items from 40 years ago with weird ingredients mass produced far away.

Even if it took dumb people not being able to afford it to keep them from eating it, it's a win for the world. I hope subway and mcdonalds file bankruptcy. And then BK and Wendy's can take the initiative and return to pure ingredients and affordable pricing and we MIGHT let them stay.

Dollar cheaper here. Also, a footlong is really meant for two people, fatty.
>>
>>21619187
>a foot long is meant for two people
some people do more than sit on their twink ass being groomed on discord all day
>>
>>21619193
2500 calories is normal for an active person. That's over half of it for one meal, not counting your drink and chips.
>>
>>21619196
>he doesn’t do intermittent fasting
>he gets the drink and chips
>>
>>21619187
if you do manual labor odds are what ever shit you get for lunch is gona make up the majority of your calories, its also still dog shit for what you get either way
>>
>>21618227
The only way to get reasonably priced fast food now is to sell your soul and put mega corporation apps on your phone that steal all of your data and spy on you.
>>
>>21619203
I used to do chicken plant work, and if you do 2500 calories as your target, you'll have enough of a deficit to keep the fat off while not killing yourself.
>>
>>21619201
Yes, we don't do fasting. Only nuts like you do.
>>
>>21619207
Most people are already doing that many times over so it's no big deal to them to add one more. Even if they know the tradeoff they're fine with it to get a discounted fast food item. Not healthy people of body OR mind.
>>
>>21619212
>muh data
>this restaurant I order from will know what I order
>fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
>>
>>21619209
i like big meals and not being fat
>>
>>21619218
they pull off a lot more data to that, then sell that shit to every one, then you get 5 billion scam calls and fraud attempts from iindia

the whole point is to sell data, they wouldnt even make a phone app if they didnt
>>
>>21619223
I don't accept regular voice calls or texts. Anyone who wants to deal with me calls me on Signal.
>>
>>21619228
That's strange of you. Quite a tradeoff you had to make because of all the junk you signed up for.
>>
>>21619235
No, I do that anyway. Anyone who calls or texts is poor and not worth my time.
>>
>>21619228
still give more info for people to cause you grief ( fraud ect)
and no one would saying getting more spam calls is good
you also have to take normal calls at some point
idk any friends or or work id be able to not use my phone with

>>

subway was still cheap when it was competes with No's. Still got one in my local airport where the asst manager gives me blowies on her lunch break sometimes
>>
>>21618227
Fast "food" needs to fucking die already. Its not even fast or cheap anymore.
>>
>>21618227
at this point all the fast food chains in my town are barely holding on. never any customers, outrageous prices. the main street economy in america is a ghost town, and amazon shipping is overburdening the post office.
>>
>>21618636
I get a 6 inch for 6 dollars, they aren't even trying anymore
>>
>>21619480
>and amazon shipping is overburdening the post office.
They don't actually get to the post office because they have their organic delivery system. What are you even talking about?
>>
>>21618385
based meatball sub enjoyer
I never liked their shitty cold cut "BMT" whatever trash but the meatball marinara holds a special place in my heart.
every other sub place does ham/turkey/roast beef better but I challenge you to find a better meatball sub
>>
>>21620013
Protip: if you ever make meatball subs at home, cut the meatballs in half before placing them on the bread. It makes them lay flatter and they won't roll out after a bite, and the cheese melts more evenly. I learned this from an italian sub shop.
>>
>>21619187
almost $20 here before tipping the wagie
>>
>>21620690
They are called sandwich artists ok?
>>
>>21619552
nta but amazon doesn't deliver to your door everywhere. I have lived in a lot of small towns with limited or no delivery service. they won't deliver to my street address here so it has to go to my PO box, our post office doesn't have enough parcel lockers to accommodate all the packages people get so even relatively small stuff usually has to be picked up at the counter.
>>
>>21618389
Stop shilling for immigrants
>>
>>21618227
>How has Subway not gone out of business yet?
They have no competition.
No other place makes sandwiches, except gas stations that make PB&Js for $9.
