What are your happiest memories about chicken tendies?
>>21619041Biting down and hearing that crunch.
Used to spend a couple weeks up in Maine every summer when I was a kid, and we'd often eat at the Weathervane restaurant. My parents would get steamed clams and such and I'd get a tendie basket with sweet & sour sauce. Those are still the best tendies I've ever had. One thing I learned from this experience is that tendies are always superior at a seafood restaurant, because they have the right kind of batter and those fuckers know how to deepfry shit just right, because fish isn't forgiving if you don't know what you're doing
>>21619041You touch yourself at night.
>>21619041Cramming them
>>21619041I used to love going to McDonald's as a kid, getting a 20 piece and asking for a paper burger wrapper filled with mayo to dip them in.
>>21619055are you talking about tendies or nuggies? surely nuggies?
>>21619041They used to make it out of real chicken instead of fake chicken. I had one particular basket of tenders and fries at one of those fast casual places, I dont recall. My family took me. Maybe bennigans, maybe some other chain I forgot the name of. They had honey mustard in a little ceramic dish. I think this was around when they stopped having an indoor smoking section. Anyways, it was the best damn basket of tendies and fries. Perfectly crispy, no woody hard pieces of chicken and sinew on the inside, served hot, not too salty, but the chicken wasnt too bland on the inside either. These growth hormones are fucking up the texture
>>21619041What kind of question is that? Why would I have memories of those? I get them at gas stations every few years. Not that great really. What the fuck, OP?
>>21619059Why are you using baby talk? Are you one of those incel diaper anime weebs who sucks his thumb and lives with mother?
>>21619041Chicken *Strips*
Box seats at the hockey game. I'm sure they were just average but I was a kid and being able to get fuckin free unlimited chicken strips and sweet and sour sauce for dippin while watching the game live was the wildest shit to me.
>>21619130I have the week off work so I'm sitting in a stinkie nappy as is my wont
getting a basket of them at the student union at 2 AM after a night of drinking with my then-girlfriendthen she started talking about getting married and I got scared and dumped her and I haven't had a girlfriend sincethis was 14 years ago
>>21619041I remember back when I was a drug addict like 5 years ago i was coming off a 40 hour bender with no food, only water. Had to eat something before bed as my tummy was upset. There was a local diner two blocks away from my apartment so ordered some tendies, fries, honey mustard, and a salad. To this day remember just crying eating that meal at home due to them tasting so good and just frustration at me being a worthless addict. Fries sucked, salad was just for nutrition. Got clean a month later but that meal and those tendies weirdly gave me motivation as if I continued I'd probably never taste food the same way again if having any taste at all and would be dead by now meaning no more tendies. Don't do drugs, kids. Don't be a loser like I was.
>>21619041>dark long and thin PEPPERY chicken tenders at Jack In The BoxWe will never see its likes again.
>>21619041I was playing this videogame called RAGE back in the day while eating kfc chicken popcornI still remember that moment for some reason. Pretty happy times
>>21619128I remember >>21619041remember when KFC had the twister wrap with tendies here in the USit was probably breast strips though
>>21619041Chick-fil-a nuggets are almost tenders sized. The only memory I have of them is when Sun Microsystems came to campus trying to recruit us. Most recruiters would bring pizza but Sun brought party trays of Chick-fil-a nuggets and jugs of lemonade and iced tea. It was a nice change but their presentation sucked. Glad I didn't go to work for them as they went bankrupt, probably for the same reason why their presentation sucked.
>>21619041Local diner used to have the best ones ever. Then jews did COVID and it closed for good. yurusarenai
>>21619204How many did you eat?>>21619409Have you ever gone back to that diner?
>>2161904120 years ago Cheddars used to have God tier tendies. They were massive but had the crispiest flakey batter. They were just unbelievable and they gave you so many for just 5 or 6 dollars. Went there a lot of times after my divorce. Then I stopped going for awhile, tried them a few years back and it just wasn't the same. They tasted like any shitty sysco tender. The magic was gone and it's never coming back.
>>21621434You should get divorced again to bring the magic back to your tendies
Last friday I got a jr bacon cheeseburger biggie bag meal and I was given five chicken nuggets instead of the usual four.
>>21619041When I worked at the hospital, I'd get chicken tenders from the cafeteria all the time. They had like 5 big Heinz pumps of dipping sauces, and I'd take dressing packets from the salad bar too.
probably one of those sunday afternoons back when mom and dad still loved each other
Yummy yummyChicken for meGet in my tummy nowPlease
>>21619409What drugs were you on?
Eating some in my car the other day, after a long day of delivering food to other people. Gotten himmel those things were crispy.
>>21619041The first time I ever had them. It was the early 90's and my mom took me to Chili's. I saw chicken tendies on the menu and had never heard of them before so I ordered them. They were so delicious and they came with the perfect side of hunny mussy. It was like an erotic rave of deliciousness in my mouth. She also bought me a virgin strawberry daiquiri. I miss Chili's being good.
