what’s your favorite bar appetizer? for me it’s the soft pretzel
>>
I don't go to bars. My friend frequented this brewery place that was basically a bar trying to pretend it wasn't so I'd come along to hang out with them, and the food was god-awful so I just made a point to eat before going there. Last I saw they park a food truck in the back but I haven't been since that friend moved out of town.

Pretzels are almost always better than I would do them at home. I like spicy mustard, but I've had some really great beer cheese too.

When I see something unsual, I like to support their doing something interesting. Last odd thing I ordered was fire roasted pepper pimento cheese with homemade crackers.

I'm a sucker for deep fried mushrooms with a creamy horseradish dipping sauce. Really good onion rings also make me happy, any type.

I always wondered why fast food companies don't partner more with bars. Like imagine being able to get Taco Bell nacho fries or nachos right away when you're drunk. Or McD's fries.
>>
>>21621588
tremoços?
>>
>>21623809
Maybe because it wouldn’t be “cool”? Not at an indie neighborhood bar, anyway.
>>
>>21623809
NO! Why the fuck would I want to eat mcd fries in a pub? Or shitty Taco bell nachos when bar nachos are fucking amazing. That shit is for late night heading home when the pub is done serving GOOD food and there are no other options. What in the flying fuck is wrong with you??
>>
>>21623856
Fuck you too.
>>
>>21623859

I guess if you're AT mcdonalds and that's what they have they are okay. At a bar?? So they'd have mcd's fryers and oil and their chemical-laden fries there in the pub, or someone would deliver them across the street?
Have you had good bar fries? Like steakhouse fries all thick with skin on? Some housemade aioli. I don't know why you'd rather have some limp fast food shit with 30 ingredients. You can get that shit everywhere and you also want it at bars??

You're broken. You're pathetic.
>>
>>21623874
Arby’s curly fries are good though. With horsey sauce. Mmm
>>
>>21623875
Yes. They are good. And they can stay at Arby's where they belong. There's a good reason bars don't serve fast food; they don't have to.

When I lived in West Hartford there was this restaurant called a'VERT and they had free boiled eggs at the bar with dipping sauces. Really damned good actually and I wish more places did that.
>>
>>21620720
Breweries aren't "pretending to not be bars," they're really just bars that make their own beer
>>
>>21624487
Not a bad idea. The eggs are more substantial and provide more protein than your average fried thing. Probably more viable for a business back when they were still cheap, though.
