>im kinda into smashed burgers rnI knew this board was gay as fuck

>>21622964My bad
>>21622926>>21622936Couple of fags spotted.
>>21622964check this out
>>21622953salmonburgs or other fish looks real good but ive never made them before. with a nice mayo based tarter style sauce, that’d be good
>>21622926jack in the box burgersthey opened in my area and couldn't believe californians don't rave about them every dayi guess it's because they are used to them
>>21622991If you have a Costco membership the frozen Trident salmon patties are excellent
>>21623015in most of cali, jack in the b fish (that's what we call it, no joke) are located in very shitty areas. While good, it's not worth the high chances of being robbed at gunpoint by a nigger gangbanger.
>>21622926Im a natural contrarian, so smash burgers lost all appeal for me a few months ago. Now I’m all about 1/3 lb 80% angus cooked over charcoal to a medium rare. With American, onion, pickles, tomato, and mustard.
>>21622926I am a big fan of grilled onions and jalapenos on burgers, throw in some pickles as well on a double smash cheeseburger and that hits perfect
>>21623368yeah japs are nice on a smashie. with a nice mayo and ketchup based sauce
>>21622926I like all kinds of burgersHonestly I feel like I'm just blessed to live in the coming age of the millienal. The "greatest" generation returned from the war and gifted us something called cooking oil. Boomers will be remembered as the generation that perfected the art of eating from tins. Generation X swept up the last of the easy money, drove twenty miles out of town and spent it all at a Pizza Hut in the middle of a vast car park.Millenials understand that what little the world has left, from the small measure of patterns we've been handed down, can still be embellished, refined. Like the demigods of old looking upon a base mankind, millenials took the burger - once a disdained and disparaged concoction - and uplifted it into an artisanal, delectable feast. They even developed the web app so a little brown man on a bicycle will bring it to your door.
>>21622926I'm with you
>>21622926I like onion burgers, until I caught the ibs, it shouldn't make you sick to eat an onion, the government must have poisoned me
for me its a Culver's burger>>21622951good taste!
>smashed burgersidk wtf that is.I just buy ground beef, form it into patties and cook them in a pan/on a two-burner griddle. The griddle is more enjoying cuz you have to keep draining or sopping up the grease but the pan takes longer to cook several burgers. No, I don't like cooking them on the grill.
>>21624246>enjoyingAnnoying. Fucking autocorrect
>>21624246smashed burger is when you smash the burger
not strictly burger but recently I've been making chopped cheeses at home, i like that I can eat em on other types of bread and also more topping options
I am genuinely baffled how much better a smashburger tasted after just wrapping and pressing it in parchment paper hen I was done. It almost doesn't make sense how much better it was.
3 go tos:smash double, american cheese, mayo and ketchup, maybe onion/tomato if it's freshbacon, sunny side up egg, a hit of mayo on the bottom bun, a crisp lettuce leaf, thick boy burger and a bit of ketchuptwo slices of toasted bread, thin boy (not a smash, just not a massive patty), lettuce, tomato, mayo and ketchup
I've never made smash burger is it literally just random ass minced beef that you smash down onto a frying pan
>>21624614Usually pre-measured 2.5- to 3-oz patties shaped into a ball before pressing onto the flattop grillThere is a trick to smearing the meat on one half of it so that it gets lacy and crispyTwo per burger is standard
