What’s your favorite kind of fresh—not cured—Italian sausage? For me it’s the cheese-and-parsley.
>>
What the hell is "italian" sausage? It's just called sausage.
>>
sweet or mild italian

Sausages that are common in Italy or made/served by Italian-American establishments, of course.
>>

As opposed to an "American sausage"

I like a sweet fennel sausage myself, works well in all kinds of dishes, as well as on a roll with some peppers, onions, and cheese..

$22/kg for pork sausage, a facking theft.

It's in Brooklyn. Everything is a ripoff there. It's $4.99 lb in real America.
>>
>>21623919
We know another name for those, don't we guise? Mm-hm :^)

That's the thing: sausages are extremely regional in Italy. Two different shops in the same city will have entirely different, unfamiliar sausages and the biggest problem is that we haven't bothered to name most of the varieties. It's all just sausage.
I don't know what part of Italy the "Italian sausage" in America is supposed to come from but it tastes pretty alien to me. Weirdly, it's more similar to a sausage I had in Laos than anything I've had back home in Italy so I've been curious what part of the country it's supposedly from.
I only learned a few years ago that these waffle cookies Italian-Americans make, pizelle, are from, like, three hyper-specific towns in southern Italy so no wonder I'd never heard of them before setting foot in America.

Calabrian Sausage. Also Lyon and Provence style sausages.

walnut sausig

How do you put cheese in a sausage? Seems like it would just leak out when you cooked it?
>>
>>21624028
You know you just proved >>21624022's point, right?
>>
>>21624067
How so?
>>
>>21624084
Because Manhattan is in Brooklyn, tard.

How so?

I’ve never had that but it sounds good.

I accept your concession.

The G Train in Brooklyn runs through Greenpoint and Williamsburg, literally right under Manhattan (in Brooklyn). Not my fault you're unaware that Manhattan is entirely within Brooklyn and ends right at Newtown Creek. Used to be a bridge there to LIC but it's gone now, replaced with Pulaski bridge a few blocks away.
>>
>>21624336
You're not making any sense.
>>
>>21624339
I accept your concession.
>>
>>21624067
That map clearly shows Manhattan and Brooklyn as separate entities. Stating otherwise doesn't make you correct, no matter how many times you say it. It just makes you look like an idiot or a troll. And since we're all bored misanthropes here, I'm betting on troll.

Bro, meet me at Wenwen in a couple minutes and you'll see just how wrong you are. : )
>>
>>21624362
You can look at a map of the world and claim that Poland is inside Alaska. Doesn’t mean it’s true.
>>
>>21624372
You're not making any sense.
>>
>>21624372
Poland might be in Alaska. I know North Pole is. Just like how Manhattan is in Brooklyn. So you heading over to Wenwen or what? I'll pay for the pork chops.
>>
>>21623914
Cheese in meat is disgusting.
>>21623961
This is truth.
