Pork chops, rice and salad.
>>
looks good but minor autism complaint.
Apple salads are gross and you overdressed or left the salad dressed for too long.
>but muh pork and apples
Don't care. Apple salad with a savory dinner is gross.
>>
>>21624587
You want to have more reasons to hate it?
I used lemon juice for the salad dressing and lemon juice in the gravy and put lemon zest in the rice.
>>
>>21624622
Yeah, lemon dressing on apple is fucking gross, anon. The other two don't bother me. Rice with lemon and (good) olive oil is delicious
>>
id eat your pork ohpee

I would nom nom that yummy salad.

little p. chizzy on the rizzy
>>
>>21624998
The chicken, potatoes, and mushrooms look overcooked and undercooked at the same time and the sauce looks thin. I'm not trying to be mean, I'd eat it, but you should work on temperature regulation. The kale stems look a little undercooked too.
>>
>>21624574
The chops and salad look absolutely fantastic. Well done.
>>

i simply didn't put in the effort because i have video gaems to play
I could make it proper but a 6/10 is fine too

Spent today smoking and slow roasting a pork shoulder. Turned out great, and now I've got a couple of weeks worth of meat to use on sandwiches, tacos, rice bowls, etc.
>>
>>21625154
That is not a couple of weeks worth of meat you little twink.

It was 9 lbs of shoulder, and I'm not eating fucking pulled pork every single meal. I froze around half of it.

I feel like pilaf doesn't show up often enough in meals, it's a lovely and versatile base. Looks great man, nicely spatchcocked bird.

Apple salad with a savory dinner is fine and yes it is better with pork. If you just hate apple salads then that's your baggage.

Sweepsteaks, a family recipe. Brown ground beef with salt/pepper/garlic powder/onion powder, add some flour then a mix of milk, sour cream and eggs and then shredded cheese. Spoon onto toasted hamburger buns, top with parm and broil. Good hot or cold.
>>
>>21625502
well this is unique. any chance of getting a cross section? also I'd be interested in a more detailed recipe, I've never had anything like this before

Glad you asked, was just thinking of grabbing one for a midnight snack. As for the recipe:
1.5lb ground beef
~1 tsp each salt/garlic powder/onion powder and 1/4tsp black pepper. All the spices I just eyeball.
Brown that in a sauce pan, stir in 1tbsp flour and set the heat to low. In a bow mix 1/2 cup each milk and sour cream with 2 eggs and stir that into the pan until it thickens. Stir in roughly 8-10oz of shredded cheese, I use a blend of tillamook medium and extra sharp cheddar. Once that's melted in keep off the heat since it can break and turn greasy. Toast hamburger buns (or really any bread you wanna use but this recipe fits an 8 pack of standard burger buns nicely), top with the slop and sprinkle on some canned parmesan before broiling until the parm toasts.

thanks anon I'll have to try this. looks like great comfort food

I suspect it was more in-season tomatoes than that. I hated raw tomatoes until I had perfectly ripe in-season tomatoes and then I didn't mind the rest.

You wish you could eat as fuck good as me. I have called this "slop" since before it was a meme phrase. Rice, pinto beans, chicken, cheese, sour cream, and hot sauce. Try not to be too jealous.

No, I don’t want mushy vegetables. If I do root vegetables they are in a separate pan and the pan juices are used for gravy.

visiting my parents is hard on my stomach. My mom is into like a keto diet or something and she made this dinner:
40% brussel sprouts
25% shredded chicken
20% cottage cheese
15% sweet potato

No bread, pasta, nor even a single grain of rice. My stomach hurt for 2 days afterwards.

Hell yeah man, been trying out different sandwiches myself. Probably will put together some loaded nachos later as well.

Today however is Larb day with canned tuna. Quick and easy high protein meal with no stovetop cooking needed.
