We're all fucking around instead of acknowledging the real problem here: breakfast food is all the same. It's the same shit over and over. It's cereal, hot or cold, fruit optional for healthier breakfast. For less healthy breakfast it's bacon or sausage (or country ham, regionally dependent) with eggs and a side starch (hash browns or grits), possibly served on either a biscuit or an english muffin. Besides some kind of fried batter topped with syrup, that's your lot. We wouldn't be so goddamn sick of breakfast food if there was a decent variety easily available, but we've culturally conditioned ourselves to accept the same meal every day and not think it's odd.
