Based on chicken paprikas
With a crisp jerk chicken rash
born from sugar in the goo

Carrot, onion, capsicum
Sour cream potato mash
sugar burned, given a splash
or pint of beer to knock the bottom loose

Salted, lemoned, garlicked up
Baby kale is layered atop
Chicken, salvaged from the slop
Is left to crisp on low slow heat

The woman entered my apartment
And my gesture's left to flop
Gracious bitch had made a stop
For burgers for us both to eat.

Oh well, chicken sloppa tomorrow, with some extra creme sure for the missus - my one wax pepper seems to have the potency of a solid handful.

Nah, it's a closeup in a re-used takeout tray (I made enough to fill three of them), given a little contrast boost, and a little blue pulled out of the highlights because I have bright white bulbs in my kitchen - great for seeing, shit for photography.

The taste tests tell me it's going to be fucking great. Not Paprikás anymore by any stretch, more like Hungarian-seasoned jerk chicken on a bed of slightly spicy kale-potato stew.

It's the same deal as jerk or any kind of bbq, but pre-caramelized in the stew before the chicken is coated in it. The shine will have a bit of heavily caramelized sugar to it, but most of that's just chicken fat, rendered out slowly, just hot enough to crisp the skin up after being submerged in the braising liquid.
