Is it safe to put an eye in your mouth or eat it? Uncooked I mean. Like raw chicken or something. Just curious what other meats are dangerously unhygienic to put in your mouth..
For reason.

it can certainly make you sick, bacteria and parasites like eyeballs too. but that seems absolutely disgusting, you will be reborn as a vulture or something in your next life for eating like that

Why are you eating raw eyeball? I had to dissect a cow one for a class and trying to cut into that toughness was really off putting

just eat one of your own eyes, problem solved

Fish eyes are good

Not any different from any other part of an animal. If it's fresh from a well kept farm there shouldn't be much of an issue but WHY?
It's like a rubber ball that will explode into liquid once you make it burst that tastes like nothing.

Raw predator meat is pretty spooky.
>>
>>21629242
I didn't say I was eating it, but it was going to be in someone's mouth for a while
>>
the eye is considered a rare treat in hunter gatherer societies. often eaten fresh off the carcass or saved for your favorite offspring.

Ha ha no. It is given to gullible white devils as a prank, with the fake story you just typed.

What are you performing some kinda ritual? If it's not being eaten, or cooked, then why are we on this board? /x/ maybe?

I was given fish eyes to eat when I was a child. cooked of course

Raw eyes sometimes have worms in them

I got salmonella poisoning recently from going to the same shitty Mexican place and ordering the chicken cheese burrito. They must've undercooked it. Only went there because its cheap its like $7.50 for a 1lb burrito and I'm poor.

Anyways been sick for almost two weeks but its gotten better these last 3 days. Been taking antibiotics and Tylenol.

Generally fatigued enough to where it feela like slow.motiom when walking, it was way worse the first 5 days i was almost bedridden just drinking water and eating chicken soup my dad made me.

Low energy, sick, direahea, no vomiting but generally low energy and can't do anything. Hopefully.it will resolve in the next week.if not I'm going to the doctor for stronger antibiotics.

But i haven't taken antibiotics in forever so its doing wonders I feel 5x better but still.kinda sick. Sorry phone posting too about to go to bed

No, you should absolutely not eat raw eyes from any animal. At least not any four legged, avian or aquatic animal and they really doesn't leave much.

Eyes are external and in contact with the air, so can easily be infected with parasites. The eye is covered with mucous to protect it from bacteria, so the mucous on eyes is a bacteria farm.

The kidneys of carnivores and omnivores should never be eaten because they typically contain a lifetimes worth of mineral toxins. Lead, mercury. And as humans have polluted the environment with mineral toxins the kidneys of a single wild animal can make you very sick. And it's not the kind of sick that kills you, but it's not the kind of sick you every recover from.

Some parts of shellfish are jam packed full of toxic bacteria. However sick you'd get eating rancid crab, well that's how sick your get eating a crabs guts because the bacteria has been in those guts a week as well.

The whole digestive system of scavengers is off limits, coyote guts, crow guts, dog guts, monkey, pig, they eat things that are foul to begin with.

Centipedes, every part of most shelled insects is poisonous of eaten raw.

Emu, emu will give you diorhea even if cooked, eat it raw and you'll get sick, with bonus diorhea

The brains of some animals contain viral parasites which will kill you, or drive you mad, or make you wish you were dead and kill yourself.
I think this actually has to do with the body temperature of the animal, cow brains most notably, but if you're eating wierd shit know that the brains of many other hot blooded animals are ten times worse. This also goes for the brains of other humans.

Some animals have venom glands, even if they don't normally bite people, or aren't dangerous animals. You you don't want to eat a platypus poison gland, or a blowfish poison gland, or a snakes venom gland. You don't want to eat anything inside an animal which looks like a gland. Any kind if worm looking organ, long thin organ. Whatever is in it, you don't want to eat it.

You don't want to eat the urinary system of any mammal because it's likely full of bacteria. Monkeys never invented penicillin, dogs never invented penicillin, many suffer urinary infections for their whole lives.

I'm a hunter. Also a sort of green berret person. Long story short, eat herbivores, eat the fat, meat, skin, bone marrow.

Testicles are not similar to eyes, OP.
