I just tried this and honestly its the best snack I've had in a long time. The Chinese really know what's up.These are called Latiao (or "spicy sticks"). My brother's Chinese coworker, she gifted him a few packets, he gave them to me. Delicious, if a bit too salty and oily.
The Asians put sugar into their snacks and it's offputting. That and the "numbing" spice that makes your mouth feel like shit.
