My friend and I used to get a Crave Case, eat a bunch of it, then refrigerate the rest to have cold tomorrow. Then he was diagnosed as celiac and we couldn't do that anymore.

What are some food rituals you shared with friends/family, outside the usual holidays?
>>
>doing thing

>doctor says ACKSHUALLY
>stop doing thing
celiac isnโ€™t real, your friend is a pussy

Sorry you think so. What are some food rituals you shared with friends/family, outside the usual holidays?
>>
My buddy and I set up lawn chairs in front of the windows at the gym and eat fast food.
>>
>>21629803
What kind of fast food?
>>

Shame about the celiac diagnosis, hope your friend's managing alright.

When we were 19-20, my buddy and I used to both work til like midnight every Sunday, so the plan goes that neither of us would eat dinner the night before or that day, and we'd be so starved that we'd eat a family meal from maccas each. We'd then immediately start drinking rum and playing tekken 7. I think the rum started off from it being "what pirates drank". Honestly sounds a bit disgusting, but it's a pretty comfy memory for me.

my dad and I used to go out to the Cordova race track and then pick up a Totino's on the way home. then we'd get home and I'd put it in the oven and that capped the night.

Friends and I used to egg the FUCK out of houses.

There was one girl with a creepy dad and we unloaded a full dozen eggs on their 2 story house.

We were dumb as fuck cus we'd all be worried about retaliation or police for days after and just feel shitty. Then we'd do it again kek

No, you didn't.

Make believe fast food.

When game of thrones was airing (before it killed itself) my wife would always cook some massive form of meat to eat while we watched the new episode.

I have a few, but my favorite all time was a solo ritual while unemployed.

>wake up around 1030am to head to mcdonalds down a backroad.
>get there right when they switched to lunch
>get a large diet coke, fries, 2 mchickens, and 2 mcdoubles all for under $10. a whole day's worth of food essentially.
>get back and smoke a spliff, drink 1/3 the diet coke and fill back up with rum or whisky
>spend the whole day watching whatever, going on ck, or playing games, just generally fuckin around
>shower and take a nap around 3pm
>wake up at 4 and scramble to clean the house and make sure I did any chores that were obviously not done, then get dinner started.
>Girlfriend would get home from work around 530, and be super happy at how clean and nice the place was.
>clean up, then stay up later playing games and going discord and applying to a few jobs here and there.

I'd switch it up with different food places, but would basically have this on repeat while I was unemployed. The coolest part about the mcdondalds order was that it would often take the exact amount of time for the traffic light to cycle on my way home. So like 9/10 times it'd be green despite it being the cross street of a much busier road. Also being a stay at home wife or husband would be so fuckin kino. That was the easiest shit of my life. The place was always relatively clean, took up projects like sanding/recoating the hardwood floors, and virtually no work stress.

I literally did this at a family gathering then realized that fucking no one watches game of thrones.
Everyone thinks I'm a retard.

After I get out of a concert at Carnegie or David Geffen Hall, I often like a post-concert slice. Not a ton of notable pizza up there so I usually wait until I get back home to the Village. Good old Joe's, sometimes Bleecker Street Pizza.

Best night of my life was a random Sunday night shortly after we graduated highschool. Me and my buddies were just hanging out and at 1am realized we didn't have school the next day or any responsibilities whatsoever. So we ended up going to white castle and destroying a crave case then afterwards we went to Walmart and played kickball in the isles since there was literally no one in the store.
Makes me sad kids these days will never know such joys since 24 hour stores have been basically eliminated.

>roast beef on Thanksgiving

I know it's absurd but it brings me back to when my mom and I first moved out of the shelter and had cooking facilities all to ourselves. A home-cooked meal is a gift
>>
>>21630999
We always did ham on thanksgiving for some reason and turkey or goose at Christmas.
>>
Iโ€™ve always wanted to try a Crave Crate.
