I am trying to remove vegetable oils from my diet to feel cleaner (and have been reading on their side effects).Has anyone here eliminated it? Do you feel better now? Has it made cooking harder?I use olive oil + avocado currently. Some sources say even these can be bad and I'm a little confused.

Yeah 2 years off them, I feel great, highly recommend, I cook with lard, tallow, olive oil and butter. I regret not doing this sooner.

>>21630270>has anyone here deleted itsure>do you feel better nowno>has it made cooking harderno>I'm a little confusedeverything has side effects. you can die of water poisoning. lettuce is a drug (it's a sedative). you can OD on nutmeg and die.there's nothing wrong with seed oils. or sugar. or salt. the issue is too much oil, too much sugar, too much salt. supermarket bread is full of oil, sugar and salt. so is supermarket tomato sauce, supermarket pizza, ketchup, mustard, cookies,... everything supermarket.there' nothing wrong with home-made mayo or fries prepared with seed oil. there's nothing wrong with nutmeg, lettuce, salt or sugar either. IF you make your own food, decide for yourself what goes into your mouth, how much and when. quitting seed oil doesn't achieve anything
>>21630350>Where do you purchase your lard? From the supermarket, they sell it everywhere here in Southeast Europe. >In general does it makes food taste more pigish? Not really, I've tried a bunch of brands and I buy this Italian brand that has no smell, maybe it's smells a bit if you are frying something but it doesn't translate into the food tasting like pork - even if I use the cheapest brand.
olive oil is fruit juice
>>21630270Just use olive oil for normal cooking, extra virgin olive oil for topping or very light cooking (for flavour and it keeps the healthy stuff), and use everything else in moderation. Peanut is good for deep frying, lard and butter make great food, etc. Haven't heard much bad about avocado, but you tell me
