What are some lesser-known foods that I should try in Japan? I already tasted basashi, puffer fish, ramen, sushi, curry, uni, wagyu, the usuals. On my upcoming trip I'm gonna try unagidon, tsukemen, and dunno what else.

Even shit like ramen has its variants.Also I feel like everyone should try motsunabe at least once. But its offal meat, so it tends to gross out people.
