They can be for some people, sometimes. I don't digest starch well and nuts/seeds sometimes upset my stomach a bit. But I don't have issues with cabbage, peppers, onions, etc.

This guy is trying to act like an authority but his own views change at times. He used to be pure carnivore then shortly after said he has milk and fruit and honey and it wouldn't surprise me if eventually he does start eating vegetables again.

If you have issues then it can be worth doing an exclusion diet to try and figure out why, but no food is generally bad for everyone, just different people have different tolerances for things. I used to poop so much all the time and it was uncomfortable because I wasn't digesting starch so I'd basically poop out as much as I ate but since giving up starch I've been doing a lot better. If you're pooping a lot that could be a reason why, or if you're just constipated you could be overeating or have low potassium or be dehydrated or eat too much dry food or a bunch of things.

The primary benefits of meat and dairy are the sheer density + bioavailability of beneficial nutrients, the high amounts of protein for athletes, the presence of some beneficial supplements that are really hard to get in a vegetarian or vegan diet, and the delicious flavor they add to your diet.
Fruits and veggies (mostly) aren't bad, it's just that fruits have a lot of sugar and veggies just aren't meat and dairy. Leafy greens are dumb but plenty of cultural staples like corn, potatoes, onions, garlic, tomatoes, etc. are pretty competitive depending on your diet though

Carnivore diet helped me to realize there was something else inside me that was craving sugar, and it wasn't me.
And that's when I started an anti-parasitic diet instead. It's been rough but I have killed most of them I'd say.

Sugar is just energy. It's associated with negative things because isolating it and trying to digest large amounts of isolated sugar is taxing on the body, but everything refined sugar is linked to, fruits are linked to the opposite due to their other nutrients and they total package they deliver. Plants are so complex that even the color pigments in a fruit influence how the sugars are digested and what effects they have on your body.

This is a bit of a chicken and egg problem. The purported health benefits of fruit are so widespread that people who are health conscious are actively opting to eat more fruit. Then studies show that people who eat more fruit are more healthy - of course they are, if people who make en effort to be healthy eat fruit then you're going to see a correlation between fruit and health. Doesn't mean the fruit are the reason

I'm not saying that fruit are bad for you, but nutrition is an extremely shoddy science that has trouble proving anything. Sure they harp on about antioxidants, but as far as I know to this day nobody has managed to prove dietary antioxidants actually reduce the population of free radicals in a living body
