I know pic related is sloppa but GOD it looks so delicious, especially if I were hungover
Sloppa requires more liquid. If they were sloppy joe meat they might be sloppa, but not just burgers.
>>21631201the preservative-laden grocery store buns and cheese singles are slop, but the burgers and eggs are fine.
>>21631232>preservative-ladenWhat a faggy way to type that.
>>21631630You have a poor lexicon, uneducated anon.
Do these blackstone griddles make sense to have as a home cook?I'm moving to a new place soon and there's room for an outdoor cooking area. The stove is a shitty electric coil one so I'm either getting a griddle or propane grill to do most of my cooking.
>>21632030They're nice if you are cooking for a lot of people, but otherwise I would stick to a normal grill
>>21632032For the most part it's just me. Do those griddle plates work on grills or should I give up on flat cooktops and get used to grill bars?
>>21631201Nice doubleyolkers
>>21632076Yes they do work, but they have to be kinda thick if you want them to heat evenly and retain their heat while cooking food
>>21632030Get a smaller one or look on Facebook marketplace for some boomer selling their barely used birthday gift. They make excellent smash burgers
>>21632106I'll keep an eye out for thick ones. I only ever see the super thin cast iron ones which I also thought probably suck.>>21632118I've used small electric ones and hated it. Basically the same as using a shit coil stove. I see 4 burner blackstones on marketplace all the time for <$100.>smash burgersThis and making my own big burrito sized sonora tortillas are why I want a flat top. A grill lets me have an outdoor oven and smoker too though.Maybe I can get a grill that lets you replace the bars with a flat top. Or a flat top with a dome cover I can store heat in.
>>21631232Hash browns are fine to if they're not store bought bagged. I hate our bread industry in the US anon.
>>21631201Miss me with the eggs. I'm eating a burger, not breakfast.
Ill just have the burger on its own and the bacon and hashbrowns on their own plate thanks.
>>21632320I mean... the eggs not the hashbrowns. No wait I mean the eggs not the bacon. No there is no bacon. I mean I want 2 plates. On the first plate a burger. On the second plate the rest of the food. The other food is hash brown and eggs. Two eggs and hash browns. Look you know I want to eat it all but only sperated. Not all together. On the one plate hambuger: Second plate would have the other food items that are not hamburger. So no bread or meat patty on the second plate. I do want those, but only on the first plate. The second plate is a breakfast plate. Eggs, hashbrounds, nothing more. Well wait I could put a dipping sauce on there. But no other meal items besides a dipping sauce. The dipping sauce for the second plate. For the first plate just mustard on my burger. Thanks
>>21632224>I've used small electric ones and hated it. Basically the same as using a shit coil stoveI started using one of those and I love mine, I did find a plug another gadget that fits and goes up to 450 never turning off, game changer compared to the one that came with it.
>>21632320Man your missing out. Egg and hash brown burger with a green onion sour cream is killer.
>>21632327What if I'm not fat and disgusting?
>>21632325You doing alright bro?
>>21632329But you are
>>21631201I, too, have a blackstone 36" griddle. It rocks.
>>21632118They make excellent everything. SteaksFajitasFried ricePancakesEggsBaconSausageShrimpYou name it.
>>21632314>>21632320>>21632329This and a breakfast burrito done right are GOATed. No ifs ands or buts.
>>21632448
I made a big pot of tomato gravy and am gonna poach some fish in there in a bit. In my mind, it has to be something like that to be "authentic" sloppa. Probably one of those terms that get adopted to mean anything that looks like shit these days.
>>21632118Outside of making an enormous breakfast or smash burgers they donβt come as handy or useful as you think they would be
>>21631201> Thin pattiesPatrician taste anon. Wish I had a griddle that big.
Might as well ask here: I usually use mozzarella on burgers because it's the go-to cheese used on pizza and it seems to melt just fine on those, but it doesn't really have that "cheesy" punch to it. Should I try cheddar?
>>21632822Yes dude fuck just use american cheese for burgers. Cheddar is better in theory but only if people eat the buger fresh off the grill and most people and especially women are too slow and gay to do that. They will let the cheese congeal.
>>21632822American, or a combination of american and cheddar if you really have to try and be special. But cheddar on its own isn't going to melt right. American is literally perfect for burgers.
>>21632030I have one, I use it weekly for meal prep . I can cook 12 bacon's and 12 eggs at the same time. Also good for when you make birria tacos.
>>21632451Had this while waiting for a flight at LAX around 6:00 a.m. one time and I was really surprised by how good it was.
>>21632030I have a smaller one that sits atop the gas range in the kitchen. Fantastic for simple griddle cooking without the huge setup
>>21632471I enjoy mine and use it often, I don't have to think of uses for it. Great for entertaining
>>21632030My dad loves his. He mostly uses it for burgers and fajitas, but it's also good for fried rice.
Nothing wrong with a good burgerino
