Like someone steeped two dozen half smoked cigarette butts in a cup of boiling water overnight and then sold it as a drink. Terrible.
It tastes really bad for how much sugar it has, it makes no sense.

>>21632807Trivially easy to make yourself too.Just cold brew some mate tea, add sugar or sweetener for desired sweetness, add citric acid for acidity, then carbonate in a soda stream. I make my own all the time.The only downside it has is that due to the brewing method the resulting drink foams like a motherfucker in the soda stream, so it's easy to overflow if you aren't careful.

I go to Germany once a month for work and aleays get a bottled mate. It's an acquired taste, after 4-5 bottles you start to like the dried plum + ashtray comboTry the mio mio mate, it's a bit easier on the palate than the club
