There's some leftover mash but that's it. I had the steaks defrosting in the nukebox as I posted >>21634525 then had them sit about a few minutes to thaw further on their own as I prepared the sides. It wasn't anything special, though. Just salt and oak-smoked pepper on the steaks, garlic and parsley with the mushrooms, parsley and dry minced onion in the mash, garlic and flaked chilli with the greens.

I made Japanese curry yesterday and had leftovers tonight. Makes me sad knowing I missed my calling of being a chanko chef in a sumo stable. Those fat japs would have loved my cooking.

I usually get a large asahi for a start because it's ~£10-£12 for a meal with an alcoholic drink regardless of the drink so might as well go for a more expensive one. Then I'll either continue on with lager or switch over to Guinness or one of the guest ales.

If I'm hungover and find myself in a spoons in the morning I usually get a pint of Ruddles Best (the cheapest ale) out of pure self loarhing

Made chicken and dumplings, great fall meal.

>4 cups chick broth
>1/3 cup heavy cream
