Our broccoli go-to:

Douse with olive oil, add salt and pepper to taste.
Place on pan, add small pats of butter all over.
Roast in 400F oven, toss every 7-8 minutes until charred, around 25 minutes total.

Dead simple

No.

Cheese grated broccoli is one.
Boil in salted water or steam while keeping it firm. Add some butter, let it melt on the hot broccoli, add pepper, salt whatever. Then grated cheese and put it in the oven for another 15-20. Goes well with steak, pork chop, pork loin medallions etc.

Steamed for seven minutes exactly. I've tried it roasted but I really don't like the flavor. I just bought a steamer basket yesterday so I can make big batches and freeze it chopped into bite sized pieces.

microwave on the "fresh vegg" setting for 3:30 for me, in a bowl with a little bit of water (about 2 shots)
if date with myself or feeling fancy, boil, drain water, add olive oil, a bit of garlic and a bit of lemon juice and salt
let it all come to temp and serve
