This shit genuinely ruins ANY taste the drink has, it just tastes like little needles pricking your tongue. Its not even "spicy" in a good way like pepper and does not even give a "fresh" taste or whatever people are psyoped into believing. Its genuinely hard to find drinks that don't have this shit inside convenience stores.

Is not liking carbonation actually a sign of autism?
>>21638195i like carbonation but most drinks are overly carbonated for whatever reason. maybe because they taste like shit when they go flat. when i make homemade fermented drinks that are just naturally lightly bubbly when consumed fresh it's a lot better. some people like a "hard pour" with beer to get rid of excess carbonation.
>>21638240Beer is literally intended to be drunk this way. That's why real cultures with history in beer making pour the beer so the bubbles come out. The modern method of drinking directly out of bottles or pouring the beer gingerly to keep the bubbles inside is objectively wrong.
>>21638252intradesting. it's a common joke to drink it straight from the can/bottle and then burp a lot but i always thought that was unpleasant especially when you'd start burping up the foam. i wonder if it was always like this though. i think it became more of an issue when beer was more frequently stored in airtight pressurized containers so it would hold more carbonation than it would if it was just in a basic barrel or something like that. when i make fermented drinks i usually do it in an open container and it just has a slight bubble from the still active yeast and it doesn't cause those issues.
>>21635883>t. IBS suffererSorry bud. Have you tried drinking kefir?
The CO2 is a big part of the addition experience. I was addicted to DR Pepper for decades and only when I found the flavored sparkling waters was I able to break the hold. The CO2 made the difference.
>buy la croix>shake it up to remove bubbles>mmm tasty water
