How do i clean the stains from my stainless steel pan?
before
after
>>21637734Barkeepers friend, friend.
i only use stainless steel. i have a lot of pans. baking soda, vinegar, scouring pad, and ask your wife’s boyfriend to help because he has stronger muscles than you.
Steel wool and dish soap
>>21637747have you ever just tried a half cup of laundry detergent in the sink to let them all soak in?
I just don't.
>>21637745Doesn't baking soda and vinegar just neutralize itself? I doubt the little agitation that you get from the foaming is enough to make it worth it.
>>21637747This is all you need. >>21637847its a bit of an overkill but if you want to have some fun scrub it first with damp baking soda then hit it with the vinegar if you still need too. Add red food coloring for lava.
>>21637734>put couple inches of water in pan>throw in a lot of baking soda>put on low heat, let simmer until all the water boils off and you're left with a baking soda crustshit will look brand new
>>21637734maybe try some acids like vinegar or lemon juice with water
>>21637734it's stainless steel anon, you've violated the oath and now need to buy a new pan.
>>21637734Steel wool/steel scrubby brush. Baking soda and vinegar helps, and I've seen people soak it in Coke which apparently works great but imo is just a waste of soda.
>>21637734first, preheat pan on stove to med-high heatsecond, add coconut oil, let it heatthird, set timer for 20 minuteslast, take off burner, set over sink over heat-proof bowl, empty excess oil into bowl, run hot water into pan and add degreaser, let sit until remaining oil breaks apart almost clear (about 48hrs) then remove bowl, empty pan of water and scrub lightly until sclean again.
Steal wool and AJAX/Barkeeper's friend
Mine never get that bad but the same principals apply.Boil water twice in there and allow to simmer each time for a half hour. Discard the water. Fill fresh with a half cup of citric acid powder, boil and simmer. Rinse and boil with baking soda, quite a lot (cup). Rinse and scrub down with Barkeepers Best Frind. Twice. Now it's spotless and shiney, so yoss in the dishwasher or else wash by hand with dishsoap. Good as new. Sweat equity.
>>21638179Never EVER use metal to clean kitchen metal. You don't need it and it will carve grooves that lead to future problems. No.

one time I got frustrated at some spots on one of my frying pans so I sanded the whole inside with 400 grit sand paper.
>>21637734try washing it as soon as you're done cooking and you won't have stains in the first place.
>>21639101*warps*nothin' personnel, kid
Bartender's friend with a rough scrub (not steel wool) or just cool a acidic sauce, like tomato sauce, in the pan. The stains come right off.
>>21639619I prefer innkeeper's buddy
>>21637734The first thing you did wrong was you didn't season it. Literally put a thin layer of vegetable oil in the pan and heat it until it starts to smoke. Wipe it clean and do this two more time. Now you SS pan is ready to cook with no mess to clean up. You'll need to repeat this process every 4-5 times you cook with it.
>>21639619This. Use a dobie sponge with barkeepers and touch of water and they panda will look cleaner than new.
>>21639631I prefer anon's mum
>>21637743This shit works every time, people soaking in vinegar and shit when they already solved this problem
>>21637734Stop using trash oils.
>>21637734>cook with stainless steel>look inside>stains
Blast it with piss and stomp it down the drain
>>21639582the rabbit hole just goes an inch deeper anon, that's all, no worries.or get daddy to fix it.
