>>21639021Post stories about how the dutch ask for a tikkie
Of course, I live here.
>>21639021I'm Danish. If you just show up unannounced I'm unlikely to have anything more than an apple to offer. Have as many of those as you want, though.
>>21639021The fuck kind of nonsense is that map?
>>21639114cute, Iād gladly eat your apples
>>21639021Wtf why is Iceland so menacing? Looks like it will attack france anyday
>>21639021>Iceland is in the wrong place>Sicily is the wrong colour>Kosovo is independent>Bosnia and Herzegovina have a giant coastline >Russia is blue not deep redWho made this?
>>21639186@LoverOfGeography
>>21639186>>Russia is blue not deep redWhat makes you think it should be red? Hospitality is highly valued in our culture, and I personally know several people who are borderline autistic when it comes to treating their guests.
>>21639221I don't really know to be honest. I suppose I just felt like making stuff up because I'm really hungover and it made me feel a bit better about myself for some reason that I'm not entirely sure of.
>>21639021>Do you share food with guests?I'm a Swede, so the only time I'll share food is if I've specifically invited you over for dinner. Those are the rules. I live by them and I'll die by them.
>>21639222Fair enough.
>>21639048What is your favorite Turkish dish?
I am Midwestern American. If you show up to my house and DON'T eat, that is taken as offense.
>Trad wives always home cooking vs working household
I find this confusing because other than "dinner party" when else do adults have guests.
>>21639383Sporting eventsBday partiesHolidaysJust to hang out
Wtf I hate nordicks now
>>21639021I assume this thread is the wrong and stupid maps general
>>21639021Scotland and Ireland likely to give food????What a joke, what sort of fantasy is this?
>>21639395It's a twitter map. They asked some random retards on twitter or just made it up.
People will send you a tikkie even if they give you a cup of coffee and some biscuits
>>21639021In bongland we almost ALWAYS give tea to a guest.
>>21639021Of course. If your guest doesn't go home stuffed, you ain't doin it right.t. Texan
>>21639411Why is Australia so gay?
>>21639222what a great microcosm of 4chan
>>21639935Did all the Brits in the Death Star offer tea to the rebels?
why are the women from this country so attractive?
>>21639021How would history have been different if Iceland was there?
>>21639021i don't have friends no one comes to my house
I have never given food to my guests nor will I ever. You get one glass of water, cup of tea or coffee and maybe, if available, a cookie. And when I visit someone I expect the same, nothing more, nothing less. I will decline any other food and I will leave as soon as possible.
>>21639222i feel ya anon
wow, protestant countries aren't welcoming or hospitable. color me shocked.
what happens here?
What kind of food do you almost always receive at someone else's home in Vatican city
>>21640299European countries are not homogeneous, north Italians are a completely different breed than central Italians and god forbid south Shitalians and then again Sicilians
other than liquor or dope (red velvet ice cream (ice cream cake X red velvet), that strain is the bomb), i dont really have anything to offer ready on hand. i dont even have cold soda. i got frozen pizza, i guess that works. I'd rather call takeout and not do dishes honestly.
>>21640333^thisThe north had way bigger connection to the germans and HRE even after the gothic kingdoms.
>>21639021>Ukraine>swipe for more infoWhat does that mean? Does it mean you need to steal food and see if they're okay with it?
>>21639411If someone did that to me I might just fucking snap
I live in the States and I won't have food for you, but I'll have booze. If you're starving, I guess I have some frozen shit in the fridge, like a box of burritos, a pizza, or maybe like some hot dogs in the fridge or the pantry, but at that point I'm ordering in.I don't even have a sit-down table. I have a table in the living room in front of my couch and recliner, or stools at my countertop.
>>21639411if someone did this i would never be friendly with them again
>>21640446Soon to be greater RussiaThe map is currently being revised so stay tuned homie.
>>21640489expect a tikkie for wasting my time by having to read your post
>>21639186>Russia is blue not deep redIf anything it should be the darker blue.>>21639395Snacks to go with alcohol are still food but that's common over the entire UK. England and Wales is basically just London in this map.
>>21640459I like you.
>>21639285Pork
>>21639395>>21640666>Snacks to go with alcohol are still food but that's common over the entire UK. England and Wales is basically just London in this map.This. Although most of my mates are pissheads, hence we're unlikely to have any alcohol left in the house. At which point we'd go to the shop to buy some and would probably either buy some snacks or if not being lazy get a joint of beef to cook up in the air fryer (yes it does work if you know how). It's pretty good when one of us can be arsed to do it, just ~1.5kg of meat, some yorkies and some gravy. Two or three bottles of malbec. Then maybe a bottle of whisky and a couple of bags for afters.
>>21640534You know you can just find a picture of a fat american, right? You don't need to crack out a fresh one?
>>21640684That's an AI Bourdain
>>21640672Visiting a single man is a bit of a different matter yeh.
>>21640684Have an American, have two!
>>21640299Rubicon.
there's always something to drink, but food it's only when it's time to eat or when they mention being hungry. t. south france
>>21639048yeah I bet you do
>>21639021In Poland it would be considered extraordinarily rude to let your guests be hungry
Bomb non feeders with slop. I'm talking clean plate club.
>>21640895what does that mean
>>21639222Checked banner material.
>>21639226it makes a ton of sense, idk why mediterraneans cant grasp the idea of "i didnt expect you, i have nothing" t. Italian
>>21640299In the north you have germanic/french influence, as you go to the south you get more arab/spanish- like in culture
>>21640299That's the Rubicon, which is the traditional boundary between Italy and cisalpine Gaul.
>>21640489It's part of our culture. I don't like it but everybody does so I do it too. My cousin just had a child and me and my gf went to visit him and we see the had sent us a tikkie when we got back to our place. For the drinks and the snacks.
New white map?
>>21639044I live here and people feed me all the time, it's customary to at least offer a tee or koffie. If you throw a birthday you are expected to pay for your guests though.
>>21639993Kek chaser
>>21641180>It's part of our culture.Fuck "cultural relativism", your culture is objectively gay and deserves to be erased (via your current suicidal immigration policies).
>>21640325The flesh and blood of Christ
>>21640446No that's R*mania. The X, formerly known as Twitter, faggot in the OP image was a retard and put it in the wrong place
>>21639021What even is the scenario? If i invite people they will obviously be served food and drinks. If you meat people spontaneous and decide to go to someones house nobody would demand food. Especially not at a bacherlor's house. Usually you would just have some beers and maybe snacks.
You guys are pp kissers. I live rural so if we ever had a visitor we'd prepare more food. It's not like you can just go drive into town on a whim. The only times I'd have friends over is if they stayed overnight. You'd expect the kid to pack a dinner and breakfast? That's silly. You provide food for them primarily because they went out of their way to see you and there aren't other options.
>>21641180Your culture is shit and should change.
I always cook proper dinner for my friends when they come over to play tabletop games. I like cooking simple as that.
>>21643268Oh OP meant random guests? No, I will not give you food but I will offer coffee and cookies.
i buy food for guests and begrudgingly eat leftovers
