schnitty with 'shroom saucenachos if I'm just peckish
>>21639116burgah with cheddah, grilled mush and bacon + onion rings
>>21639116parma, preferably with pineapple
>>21639116I like to go to a pub with a carvery, but they're rare. Maybe scampi. Or ham, egg and chips if it's decent. If it's a standard place anyway. Quite a few pubs are thinking outside the box nowadays
>>21639245huh?
>>21639116IMO the ideal food pairing for cheap lager is spicy chicken chow mein
>>21639116fish and chips for me darl

>>21639116>wings, buffalo or other>sir loin or porterhouse with chep and salad>grilled barramundischnitty>roo loin as long as it's served with a nice pan sauce or similar
>>21640512>>21640520>>21640523I never ate at the Civic. Looks pretty decent. Usually if I'm in the CeeBeeDee I wander a bit for a feed.>Lord Wolseley>Royal Albert>The Pallisadeand so forthI might try it some random afternoon if it isn't too busy
>>21640553>Lord WolseleyLooks like a decent old fashioned pub, gotta check it out after work one week.>Royal AlbertRainbow flags, no thanks, but it's Surry Hills so it's like a law or something that every pub within proximity to Oxford st has to have that shit.>The PallisadeThis one's been on my radar for a while now but yet to check it out
>>21640618m8 the Royal Albert has been there for 100 years and even still has the same stained glass pub windows. It's got classic Sydney pub vibes with wood and tile, hasn't been Merivaled, has a good pub kitchen and a dumpling bistro just out the back. It's a good place. The Palisade has become our favourite haunt in the last couple years though, fucking great spot and is never hectic busy. The pub on the ground floor is the most comfy but there's a nice cocktail bar and restaurant on higher floors, with better harbour views etc but downstairs is where I belong
>>21639116Usually beer.
>>21640553>I never ate at the Civic.I thought you were talking about Inglewood for a second and kinda panicked.I've seen too much vomit in pits at that place.
>>21640639I'm sure the one in Sydney CBD gets completely grubby by closing time every night
>>21640651The one in Perth had death metal so it definitely does.I've never seen bands punching audience members in the face like that place before. Neato.
>>21639116Usually anything lamb related but if there is anything interesting and looks good like a special i might take a crack at it

>>21639116Here in US the local watering hole will likely just do wings and pizza. I'll get some wings once in a while if the game is on and I'm there around dinner time. The pizza is usually garbage, just frozen pizza or whatever by the slice.
>>21639116>pubI'm not a get-jailed-for-memes pomcuck. I don't eat "pubfood"
>>21640741What the hell kind of sportsbars are you going to that don't do burgers?
>>21640744Dive bars mostly. The type that still have dollar beers on draft in a cold mug and gambling machines where you can smoke inside.
