How many of your friends and peers can actually cook? All of my good friends cook from scratch, while my acquaintances eat a lot of processed food. Much to think about.

My ability to cook did not help me hold on to any of my friends.

All of them, but I realize this is a fringe case and I'm in the minority. I'm a professional chef.

Most of my friends can cook well or at least decently. It really jogs my noggin that "people" can be 30+ years old and not have any knowledge of cooking. I dont make friends with those types of "people", because unless theyre filthy rich, their lack of cooking knowledge generally means theyre less knowledgeable in other key areas.
