What is the most overrated fruit and why is it strawberry?
Strawberry is probably a top contender for best fruit. Blueberry is more overrated by a long shot. Strawberry did nothing wrong.

Strawberries are just hard to actually get to shelves in good condition. Grow them yourself, they're amazing. Store ones suck ass.

If you think strawberries are overrated, you're buying the lowest quality strawberries known to man.

They're picked under-ripe for shipping then blasted with nitrogen to encourage the outside to turn a vaguely pink colour so people will buy them even though the fruit itself still tasteslike wet cardboard. If you've never had a strawberry that fully ripened on the vine you don't know what they actually taste like.
