>>21641528and lo the angel blew a trumpet, and opened the seventh seal releasing the great abomination of canned haggis on the world.
>>21641529I didn't want people to think I dont have a fork
>>21642074I thought it anyway.

>>21641528Scottish anon here. Its ok but not particularly good.Traditionally it has more spices than what's in this and the texture is a bit more coarse but if you can only get this its decent and pretty tasty with neeps and tatties.you could add some extra pepper and a little allspice (pimento berries) maybe even some cayenne but don't make it spicy with the cayenne the mild heat is supposed to come from there being a shit ton of black pepper in it.
>>21642625Yeah, I'm pretty far away from Scotland, was curious about the its rating with haggis fans
>>21642657Its pretty crap compared to proper haggis made traditionally but for something in a can its suprisingly good.
>>21641528Premium haggis implies the existence of non-premium haggis.
>>21641528I love haggis. I go the Renaissance fair in Ohio and theres a stand that serves haggis sandwiches, rolls and even a walking taco, but with haggis. I don't really know where I can get it or even how to prepare it. If eat it more often if I could.
Is haggis the same all around scotland or are there different versions
>>21641528As far as tinned haggis goes yes, it's solid, but it's not going to be accurate to the real thing. I think it's missing some of the categories of offal that are banned in other nations, a quick google says it's mostly just lobes (lung) and oatmeal and it should have liver and heart and whatever.
>>21642815>theres a stand that serves haggis sandwiches, rolls and even a walking taco,It's also very good on a pizza with a lot of mozzarella. In Scotland it's probably consumed battered and deep fried about as often as traditionally cooked so that's an option as well.>I don't really know where I can get it Apparently there are some places in the US making US-legal haggis (googling I found one called McKean's), but looking at the prices they seem a bit steep.>how to prepare it.If you can find proper haggis it's generally already cooked so you simply either wrap it in tin foil and boil it or heat it in the oven. Or if you're using it in another use just heat it however you like.
>>21642890They're mostly fairly similar, but vary a bit in exact proportions.
>>21642927Haggis is illegal but AR 15s are not.
>>21643839Do not eat your AR 15.
don't mind me just passing thru
>>21643841Uhhhh I am from Europe
>>21643839A true American would use one to secure the other.
>>21642661I agree with this anon, it's not nearly as good as the real thing but it's fine. I eat it from time to time
>>21643839Based. You can't defend against a corrupt and overreaching government with haggis.
>>21644222Have you *actually* seen haggis? You can weaponize it easily
