A 33-year-old UK truck driver needed emergency treatment after consuming a large quantity of gummies in a relatively short period of time.

Nathan Rimington, a truck driver from Yorkshire, reportedly ordered a 3kg (6.6 pounds) container of Haribo Cola Jelly from Amazon after getting a craving for gummy candies. He proceeded to consume the 10,461kcal-worth of gummies in just three days, and started experiencing serious physical symptoms shortly after. He was taken to the emergency room with severe abdominal pain, sweating, high blood pressure, and cold sweat. Initially, the medical staff suspected that the man was suffering from food poisoning, but further tests revealed unusually high levels of gelatin in his digestive tract. After performing several tests, Rimington was diagnosed with acute diverticulitis.

Diverticulitis is a condition in which small protrusions, called diverticula, form in the colon wall, causing infection or inflammation. Medical experts explain that consuming large amounts of certain ingredients, such as gelatin, can increase the risk of bowel movement and intestinal obstruction. Systemic symptoms such as fever, chills, indigestion, and vomiting may also occur.

According to medical experts, the most common symptom of diverticulitis is persistent, severe abdominal pain in the lower left abdomen. This pain is distinctly different from typical indigestion or constipation, typically lasts for more than a day and gradually worsens. Some patients may experience bloody or mucus-filled stools, and if symptoms become severe, there is a risk of colon perforation, which may progress to peritonitis.

In Mr. Rimington’s case, doctors immediately stopped all oral intake and started intravenous fluid therapy. was hospitalized for six days in intensive care with a high fever and severe abdominal pain. Luckily, he made a full recovery, but will probably not indulge in a gummy for a very long time.

>Fake news
I agree. The further tests that revealed the gelatin is the lie. Not gonna be on xray. Are they trying to state, they did a colonoscopy, nope, nor a punch sample, so nahhhh.

I don't think 2 lbs of food a day will put you in the hospital. He was likely already unhealthy if he was doing something like this and it finally caught up to him but it wasn't just the gummy bears.

Haribo is great only the golden bears suck. You need to try the smurfs regular or the sour version. The wildberry bears are the best though

>the doctors found he had gelathemia. Gelat meaning gelatin and hemia meaning presence in blood. The man had 6 pounds of free floating gelatin in his blood, he was turning into a human gummy!
>>

I used to work in a warehouse for a website that put a free bag of Haribo into every order. We were allowed to help ourselves to the sweets while we packed.

I would only eat one or two packs a day just to keep hunger at bay. Yet in time I began to taste the meat gelatin in them.

Here you go I had an ai summarize it for you
Summary: 12-Year-Old's Accidental Cannabis Overdose
The Incident: A 12-year-old girl accidentally ate 96 cannabis gummy edibles that her father had hidden by mixing them with regular candy in the kitchen cabinet.

What Happened: Over an hour of snacking, she consumed nearly the entire bag, unaware the gummies contained THC. She experienced visual disturbances, rapid heartbeat, breathing changes, nausea, and disorientation before falling down stairs.

Medical Emergency: Her mother found her incoherent and unable to speak properly. Initially suspected as a head injury, doctors discovered through urine testing that she had cannabis toxicity.

Why It Was So Severe: Edible cannabis is processed by the liver into 11-hydroxy-THC, which is up to 6 times more potent than regular THC. The effects are delayed but intense and long-lasting.

Outcome: She made a full recovery after hospital observation. Child Protective Services was notified due to federal law, but it was determined to be accidental.

Fun fact, even in its strongest forms, A lethal dose of THC would require consuming equivalent to 15 pounds of weed in one sitting
>>
>>21644879
I wonder
15 pounds of carbonated weed
big vat of butter + water
what is the most it could be cooked down
maybe everclear + water would enable a better concentration

I just wanna trip balls
