Got one of them new carbon nonstick pans from Misen. Out of the box it's not as slick as a new Teflon pan but it's close. Certainly more slick then ceramic pans though. Egg will release in a dry pan but the skin of the yolk will stick after you flip it. With a little butter it self releases
>>21641945Nonstick is for obese flyovers that can't cook. Buy a real pan.
>>21641945Very aesthetic pan, how much?
seems like every week a new variation of meme pan hits the market when this tech has already been solved for decades with stainless steel and/or cast iron
>>21641945I'm probably going to buy one of these whenever my egg pan shits the bed.
>>21642032its not got a non stick coating its just carbon steel that they have done some sort of metallurgical sorcery to.Iv not got one but id highly reccomend it to anyone trying to escape the teflon jew who wants the convenience of a non stick pan as unlike other carbon steel pans you don't need to season it to stop stuff sticking.
>>21642413That's my use case for it, needs a little fat and it's slick. Scrambled eggs for the kids this morning and it was great. I can scramble eggs in stainless steel but if your heat isn't right it's gonna be a mess and when I first roll out of bed trying to get ready for work while also making breakfast, I just want something easy
>>21642032Imagine being such a dumb unemployed tranny you virtue signal about being a jobless urbanite whose time has no value.
>>21642632>Assumes you want to cook something without fat for some reason>Not even as good as Teflon at that anywayIt's for obese flyovers because you have to be dumb enough to think the 100 - 200 calories a day you're getting from cooking fats is why you're unhealthy or overweight. All nonstick does is make your food worse and encourage grown "adults" to severely underdevelop their cooking skills. Leading to vicious cycle we are in today where poor nutrition and obesity is rampant among children because the parents just feed them whatever branded slop doesn't ask much of them.Nonstick can.and should be looked down upon.>>21642664>>>/pol/

>>21642702>Can't cook with a real pan>Tells other people to grow up
>>21642695You are the retard here if you think the only application for using nonstick is for cooking with zero fucking fat/oil.I don't even use nonstick i was just explaining what this pan is because you are clearly too stupid to look it up yourself
>>21642713Please name one (1) use for a nonstick, where the nonstick is the better cookware than a normal stainless steel pan, other than being for autists who thinks an extra 50 calories of butter with eggs in the morning is why they're fat
>>21642698I did flip that egg and let the whites set. Only cook on the other side for 10 to 15 seconds
>>21642724Frying bread soaked in broth. It almost kinda works with a nice seasoning in an iron pan but not really.
>>21642724These aren't impossible without a nonstick pan but having one makes it so much easier that many ppl find buying a nonstick worth it:Frying anything very delicate that will disintegrate if it sticks such as the omlettes for omurice. Frying anything starchy or making gyoza/potstickers. Also just the convenience of not having to either maintain a layer of seasoning on ur normal carbon steel/cast iron or preheat and oil it for brushed stainless is something that appeals to a lot of people. Most people use nonstick for convenience not because they want to fry stuff in a dry pan.
>>21642727I don't understand why you would ever flip an egg, what does it bring?
>>21642761Solidify the whites especially around the yolk. You really don't understand an over easy egg? Where are you from?
>>21642766He's from a country well versed and accustomed to the slick feel and consistency of semen on the tongue. He seeks to experience that as often as possible
>>21642396>>21641945>>21642632>>21642664Reminder that DuPont was a convinced incestuous pedophile and there's enough money in meme pans to pay shills. If you can use cast iron for generations there's no money to be made. It's not actually hard to maintain at all. It's less work than actually washing dishes. I make breakfast with a cast iron pan every morning and the only thing I ever have to do is scrape off anything I let sit too long that burned. This only happens when I get distracted and it's 5 seconds with steel wool. The act of cooking reapplies the seasoning. >But fat is bad for youMy mother ate bacon and eggs daily and lived to 86. I think she'd have lived longer if she didn't take the vax, but who can prove it?

>>21645227I'm the OP and in general agree with you. Just need something to scramble eggs in every morning. Mostly it's my wife for my kids.I mostly use cast iron, stainless steels, and carbon steel pans. Got a few ceramic coated cast stuff that I use every once in a while in a while as well as
>>21645229>the heat of the unshaven scrotum cooks the egg
what stainless pan should i get? i keep getting ads for thouse bougie Made In ones. does it really make a difference to spend $150 vs $50 or whatever

I got one of these (the big one). Shit is life changing, cooking is even fun now.
>>21645227So, what was he convicted of?
>>21642032how are you even supposed to do it? i try and make scrambled eggs and it always sticks no matter what oil i use or how much of it i put onmy family just has one of those enameled cast iron ones from le creuset

>>21646074enameled is gonna stick like fuck with eggs no matter what.>>21642032It's a carbon steel pan.>>21642396This has big advantages.>nearly completely nonstick with no seasoning>much more corrosion resistant than cast iron>lightweight like stainless steel, has similar construction (bottom is actually stainless, aluminum core, nitrided carbon steel cooking surface)it's pretty nice. If you're happy with what you have, that's good. But for people who don't like cast iron for whatever reason, but want non-stick without teflon, it works great.Personally I got one for my mom because she has bad arthritis but likes cooking, and it's hard for her to do cast iron, it's too heavy for her.>>21642724Anything starchy sticks like fuck in stainless and you know it.>>21642391$88 for the 12" currently, not OP but I have on and recommend it. It's on sale, so it's a good time.
got this pan a few weeks ago, once you overheat the pan once it starts sticking like crazynow it works like a normal carbon steel pan which can be fine depending on what you want but it doesnt function as advertised for me and many orhers who seem to have the sane experience
