Anyone go out to eat alone and realize servers treat us single people like absolute dog shit and seem mad at us simply for existing. So often we are forgotten about, she asked me if I wanted more coffee 20 min ago and it took me flagging down other staff to get some. Similar experiences to this happen about half the time I go out to eat.

Only time in my life I gave zero tip was when a waiter literally just ignored me for 20 minutes talking to her friend when I was right there. I left exact change and walked out and that was that. Everyone clapped though so I know I was in the right.

Main times I've gotten looks were being a sperg, like eating at the same place three days in a row, or looking like I wanted to kill myself. People generally don't give a shit if your polite and concise, but some people will naturally judge you more if you look like shit, look sad, and are not working. That's how it is everywhere
