The divorce apparently sent him spiralling into depression and the path he took out of that involved becoming a woke Californian cuck-a-daisy. He seems to lack all self-awareness, which is bizarre, because that's what made Good Eats interesting in the first place. I'm not surprised that popular opinion has turned against him. He's already set, so what the fuck does he care, but it really does sour what was a genuinely good show and surrounding culture. I'd like him to one day "wake up" and realize that he's completely sold his soul to the devil that he used to fight against, but I doubt he ever will.
