Well, my perfect one is the one after Thanksgiving on white bread with mayo. Other than that, my local deli does some sandwiches with their roast turkey twice a week. Really good.

A turkey sandwich on rye bread with lettuce and mustard and, and I don't want any zombie turkeys, I don't want to turn into a turkey myself or any other weird surprises.

lightly toasted widepan wheat bread, miracle whip, hand-carved breastmeat from a roast turkey, provolone (non-smoked), green leaf lettuce, real thin yellow onion slices, deli pickle (sliced into sandwich length cutlets), and tomato of a generous thickness.

Packaged turkey cold cuts always have this weird, rancid flavor to me so the humble thanksgiving leftover sandwich.

My American friends are obsessed with turkey but in my country it’s seen as inferior to chicken. It’s mainly used as cheap protein for mass produced, processed foods.
I don’t even think it’s as popular at Christmas as it used to be.

Supermarkets here only seem to stock it around chrissy and easter, and I'm fairly sure that's just for the immigrants from the UK and US

I would not use turkey. Black forest ham and salami is superior

Replace the turkey with Pastrami
Sauerkraut on the bottom
Peanutbutter on the 'kraut
Tomato (seasoned) on top
I dont like cheese
Bread doesnt really matter to me
Voila, the perfect turkey sandwich.

Back when I was a wagecaged I would roast a few chicken breasts and thin slice the final product for cold cuts. I would make all my sandwiches on sunday with white bread and then put pickles on the bottom bread, roast chicken, layer of honey mustard, another chicken slice (so that the top bun doesn't get soggy), pickled cabbage, Bread on top.
Ten of these sandys would last me the whole week. Im assuming others did the same with cold cut turkey or salami.
