Meh
>>
I like it. It's pretty good on like pizza and stuff
>>
>>21663274
It's proper honey that's spicy and has a slight zing to it from the vinegar. It does taste good but it's also pure sugar.
>>
Then why the fuck did you start this thread?
Why not get it, then start a thread and tell us about it?
Cunt.

I bought some ought unny awhile back. I use it as an ingredient in my wing sauce but otherwise it just sits there.

It's not Mike's brand because we don't have that so I don't know how similar they are
>>
>could buy nice honey
>could buy chili peppers
>decide instead you want to buy shitty honey and shitty peppers combined together and sold at a premium

just don't understand it, also it's pure sugar you don't want that shit on your food, fatty.

>hot honey
>>
>>21663274
it’s not disgusting but I find it has a limited use case and less flavor than a good garlic chili crisp. Lao gan ma is not good btw
>>
>>21663274
Someone tell me what's the difference between Hot Honey and cayenne added to honey?
>>
>>21663389
They're spelled differently. Duh.
>>
>>21663389
>what’s the difference between buying a premade condiment vs making a condiment yourself
>>
>>21663274
I mix sriracha(Sky Valley) and honey sometimes.
>>
>>21663274
The rule for hot sauce is that it need to have a name like Satan's Blown Out Asshole Leaking Lava Sauce.
>>
>>21663487
>sometimes
slacker
>>
>>21663389
mike's also has vinegar

>$10 for 12 oz
dayum i can get like 32 oz of pure honey for that price. even the store brand hot honey is half the price.
>>
>>21663513
so does your mom to flush out her vagina
>>
>>21663360
What do you mean 'plant-based'? Honey is literally bee vomit. It's like calling milk plant based because cows eat grass.
>>
>>21663531
>bee vomit
that picture was meant for you specifically shithead
>>
>>21663528
what do you use?
>>
>>21663274
I like to drizzle some one when I make cheese and crackers. Cambozola, summer sausage on a club biscuit with a little hot honey on it. God I feel like such a slut.
>>
>>21663540
my saliva

>slut
weird way to spell faggot
>>
>>21663548
You're just jealous.
>>
Meme, like that japanese barbecue sauce. Like that other stuff, I wonder what all the normies buying it use it for.
It's kind of OK for what it is though. If you can tell it is the kind of thing you would like, you will almost certainly like it.
>>
>>21663557
Nah. I enjoy being straight.
>>
>>21663580
You don't understand I NEED a 50-90% sugar cased sauce on my food otherwise I can't enjoy it
>>
>>21663580
My siblings like it, never had it myself though. Is it on par with Sweet Baby Rays or better?
>>
>>21663538
It's a little oversimplified, but not untrue
>>
>>21663274
anyone ever made thier own?
i have a bunch of habaneros i need to use, and was thinking about this
only problem is i cant dry the peppers first. anyone done it with undried peppers?
>>
>>21663442
One is for stupid retards the other is putting two ingredients in a bowl and stirring?
>>
>>21664025
>make a pepper mash by crushing the peppers in a mortar and pestle or chopping them up over and over
>add to pan
>add honey, maybe a pinch of salt
>gently simmer
>strain carefully

might not be clear but im sure it will work
>>
>>21664025
I would just dice hot peppers up finely and then steep them in honey, maybe barely boil it, you should have dried chili flakes in your pantry as a staple, frankly
>>
>>21664025
I add homegrown peppers to honey and jelly on a case-by-case basis. Dice them real fine with seeds and all and toss them in the honey. Stir with a toothpick or flathead screwdriver. The other day I had a PB&J (raspberry) with diced tabascos fresh from the vine. Shit was so cash.

>stir your food with a screwdriver or a toothpick

Ferment raw fresh and cleaned peppers for two weeks. I added four cut in half habaneros to 16oz of honey, turning the bottle once a day. The honey became more runny and completely taste like habanero. However the heat didn't come through as much as I wanted.
>>
>>21663274
It's a meme
>>
>>21663531
Pasteurized honey might as well be plant-based.
