Chili cheese fries are my favorite food
i'm sure Checkers fries are the worst for you, they're so drenched in oilbut getting their chili and the cheese sauce on itmy goodness, enough calories for two days
>>21665410I'm a fan of cheese fries but I won't turn down chili cheese, the ones from wendys are pretty good. Used to live by a place that had great cheese fries, shoestring fries and nacho cheese, dusted with paprika, they'd wrap the container in foil and it would make it this perfect soggy mess. miss it so much lmao
>>21665410Well you're fat so no duh.
vileraw bri'ish food innit
For me, it's nacho fries.
>>21665410At least you can't get any more unhealthy. That's rock bottom right there.
>>21665722You could sprinkle bacon on top
>>21665410pleb
>>21665723Patricians choice would be ‘strami
>>21665847Ooh, or corned beefBut both have to be healthier than baconGuanciale?
>>21665717FOR ME, IT'S ANYTHING BUTmaybe if there was one fry already decorated to have every hour for the next two weeks
I'm going to get 2 cans of chili (with beans) and 1 can to cheese sauce and dump them together and see if it's an okay quick'n'dirty chili cheese for some fries.
>>21665930Might also add a can of tomato sauce too that, come to think of it.
>>21665930>2cans>1cans>some friesdo half a can of each
>>21665948I'm not gonna eat it all in one go, Anon. I'll make it up and then use as much as I need over the next week.
Sonic has decent chili cheese fries and you can order them any time of day even breakfast which is cool.
>>21665410>foodpotato sticks cooked in seed oils and covered in crystalized salt and preservatives. chemical cheese imitation product. day old soy beef crumble imitation and chemical seasoning powder. served in a plastic lined paper box.>anon, i...that should be illegal.
>>21665985This is/ck, not/fitWe like flavors here we don't autisically view food strictly as fuel to get over the trauma of once being a fatshit or skeleton
>>21665410everything reminds me of her
>>21665997>foodthe post isn't food. it's a chemical imitation of food. there's nothing /fit about my post. it comes from the perspective of appreciating food and rejecting smoke and mirrors pretending to be food.
>>21666013All foods are chemicals, my pseudo-intellectual friend.
>>21666013Chill out boomer i'm sure you ate plenty of cheese omelettes back in your day
>>21665410chili cheese nachoes/dog and slurpee is my gas station go to.
>>21665410i personally make my own. 10 lbs of potatoes are cheap in texas, and all you have to do really is cut it to the appropriate size, either french fry size for the air fryer or little small squares for the cast iron. it doesn't remove the glyphosate that is no doubt on the potatoes, but what are ya gonna do. add some cheese if in the air fryer or just by themselves on the cast iron with some olive oil. all this amounts to a more affordable and healthier meal than the options offered at "restaurants."t. anon who just had air fried chees epotatoes
>>21665985you’re trying way too hard anon
>>21667166you're not trying hard enough anon
>>21665410And? Who cares? Are you retarded?
>>21667180i care. /ck/ cares. i think you're the real retard here.
>>21667180how bout this? does chili mash do it for you?
>>21667145Do the Texas taters tend to come from Mexico?>>21667239Isn’t too bad the CCP isn’t a group of people that enjoy Chili Cheese Potatoes, and the Plenum isn’t a gathering where they all eat a lot of chili cheese fries, mash, and baked potatoes and then take a nap
>>21667180It's a food board, you retarded faggot.
>>21667865they come from either the states or mexico, but generally i believe they come from the latter. it's worth noting that mexico had an ardent stance against synthetic herbicides, such as glyphosate, to the point that there had been a ban placed on its import and use, but unfrotunately due to pressure from the us/canada and big aggriculture the ban had a pause placed on it very recently.
Chili cheese tots are better but fries will do
>>21665410How do you get that weird miscellaneous soft small meat bits kind of chili? Actual ground beef/mince is bigger and thicker. Too much solid volume. The brown sludgy sauce is also a mystery. No, I can't just look up a regular online chili recipe because I specifically want the fast food restaurant slop in OP pic.
When you get them from a good place, they're a thing of beauty.
>>21668246That's the wrong cheese
What's your go-to cheese for the fry? Mine is always extra sharp cheddar.
>>21665722replace the cheese with arab garlic sauce, which is literally whipped oil with garlic & salt.
>>21668368>whipped oilcan you just throw that in a blender
>>21665586This is raucously American.
>>21665985I make these myself from scratch all the time. If I don't have chili, I just make bacon cheddar fries.I've even done chicken and Alfredo fries, which has no business being so good. The only fry dish I won't ever do or eat ever again is poutine. And that's on principal, not because I think it tastes bad.
>>21665410thats a soup
yup, it's dinner time
>>21669110is there a doneness that you recommend to avoid soggy fries
>>21669194it's noteworthy that the fries present in this image were air fried at 375 degrees for fourteen minutes. notice how some of the cuts were uneven—that's authenticity. although, it must be stated for the sake posterity a few more minutes cooking would have been preferable.

pic rel is a (mexican) potato purchased in texas
>>21665717Mexicans need to settle down.
>>21665410I prefer not having the cheese be completely melted and be in chunks like a poutine. Otherwise it's too messy.
>>21667239Mash and rice are too soft, it just turn into a whole mushy mess. It's better to have something with consistency like fries or shredded cabbage or bread.
>>21668366This guy gets it
>>21668100Look up "Detroit style coney dog sauce recipe " and you'll get something close to most commercial hot dog chilisI find this is the common commercial emulant, even though other places do chili differently
>>21665847'icians, you mean? Why must you be so formal? You should really abbreviate all of your words. You're never going to make that a thing, btw. But you just keep at it; you've got nothing else going on.
>>21665985>seed oilslol, there it is! I'm so baffled by this conspiracy nonsense. It's clearly been debunked and the oils are perfectly safe. Which is why restaurants use them and stores sell them. Buy you've got that insider info that "THEY" don't want us to know. You guys disgust me. Such ignorance and distrust. And the former leads to the latter. You have no reason to be so skeptical of the world.
>>21669194He eats on his dirty, cluttered floor. Jar of peanut butter there too. Not even embarrassed. Good thing this is an anonymous site.
>>21669194Looks like you were running a little low on the cheese big guy
>>21669097Yes, that's how large batches are made. You pour in a few cups of oil then add salt, lemon juice and as many cloves of garlic as you can stand and then blend that shit up. Some recipies use egg as well, others a boiled potato but you can make it without either. It's sort of like how you like mayo.
I like the chili & cheese tots at Sonic but theyre new fries aren't that bad so I've been getting chili cheese fries
>>21669807i have a really comfy chair. it goes by the name crazy creek which you can pack easily and sit anywhere. the floor is dirty thoughbiet. a note on the peanut butter...i had some serious diarreah last night after having peanut butter (non salted) crackers dipped in milk as desert. maybe it had something to do with the non natural jiffy? this jiffy is the one that comes with seed oils and extra stuff...>>21669849no kidding. the cheese itself is a three style mexican cheese. i forget all that's included, but part of me always leans toward less even though, in this instance, an observer can clearly denote just how little cheese there actually is. i still always do less!
when i was a kid i loved the chli cheese fries at galaxy butger (ontario california)Its been decades sense ive been there. probably sucks now just like everything else. Any Inland Empire fags out there that can confirm?
>>21669346Always double cook them. I keep parboiled potatoes in my freezer just for when I want to make fries. Keeping enough decent oil/tallow to fry them in is a different story.
>>21668246>White American cheeseinto the trash
>>21669110>chicken and Alfredo friesalright, you have my attention
>>21665410>>21665717do you scoop the leftovers with your hand like a fucking animal?
>>21665985>salt and preservatives.....salt IS the preservative, retard.
>>21670435This video here really changed my life: https://youtu.be/HrNLvCO2tE4I now make fries regularly and you can make many meals with them. They aren't as hard or take as long as people think. Literally just add chicken and alfredo over fries. Chopped or shredded. Add some cheddar cheese or parmisan atop it, a little paprika, parsley garnish. Way better than I expected.
>>21670443i understand your frustration, but anon was only pointing out that these fast food chains use more than just salt as a perservetaive.
>>21670553Anti-caking agents, etc... It's so tiresome...
>>21670556>etcatleast be specific? Sodium acid pyrophosphate (SAPP), Citric acid, TBHQ (Tertiary butylhydroquinone), Dimethylpolysiloxane, Dextrose, and xanthan gum. those additives make for a significantly more unhealthy meal than if it had only included salt. do you understand now that you're frustration is not only silly but also irrational?
>>21670567I'm not an expert on these things. I cook mostly from scratch to avoid them.
>>21670568I can't remember the ingredient or the dish I was making, but using a pre-packaged product ruined one of my dishes. I've had this happen more than once, but I that one particular experience stuck with me, even though I can't remember the dish. It was something I was very used to making, but since I cut corners and used a pre-packaged ingredient instead of a fresh one prepped by me, it ruined the dish. It makes a big difference, even aside from health.
>>21670436which animals do that?
>>21665410Dog slop, kys amerishart
yup, it's dinner time.
