If it doesn't have crushed anchovy filets in it, then it's not a proper pizza sauce.

Urban Meadow is the only authentic one

if they had any respect for their sauce they would pay the extra .05c/unit for a glass jar
>>
mmm microplastics
>>
I use passata with a bit of olive oil and salt. No need to cook it, no need for a bunch of dried herbs. It just werks.
>>
Expensive but worth it.
>>
This is also good.

Mutti pizza sauce is good. It's Italian and when I checked the ingredients it was all the things that I would already be adding to canned tomatoes anyway and tasted almost identical and most importantly is more conveneint.
>>
>black olives
>13% of the pizza toppings
>responsible for over 50% of ruined pizzas

Just make your own, it's very easy.
Take a can of good tomatoes and add it to a blender with a clove of garlic, a couple of glugs of olive oil and a fat pinch of salt.
Blend until smooth. Add oregano if you must, but I keep it in a glass jar in the fridge.
I make pizza a couple of times a week.

I ate a gummy and nearly ordered this pizza. I have shrimp thawing for dinner and romaine for a nice Caesar salad, but I got a craving and got all the way to checkout before realizing I can't be cheating like this. And their pizza is nowhere near worth that price. If I'm paying $30 for a medium it's gonna be from my favorite mom and pop.

That was a close one. Anyway, I stayed strong. Maybe I'll make dough and do a shrimp pizza. Sorry for hijacking your thread to make a pizza blog, but I don't want to start an entire thread for this.
Carry on.

cento actually is really good but i dont know why specifically
they're just the consensus gold standard for the canned tomato genre and they're just really impressive amongst polite company (the jews) who judge and measure every minutiae they can then use to assert a sense of dominance and superiority over you like finding and putting on a kind of elaborate hat you see

as a homecook there's probably never going to be a point where your crust, bake and the quality of your cheese are good enough for you to start putting a ton of value in a miracle sauce that completes your pizza.
>>
Best, period.

your hands are covered in microplastics right now. Your computer, mouse, and keyboard are plastic no? That means there are micro particles s of plastic dust all over your desk, which transfer to your hands.
>>
>>21666986
Are there just whole black ol9ves plopped on that pizza?
>>
>>21667547
I don't like it. The oregano is a bit too wild for me.
>>
what stores carry the full suite of cento products? at walmart it's basically just the main 28 oz tomato varieties and paste, no pizza sauce, no clams, no cherry peppers.
>>
>>21666986
>pizza sauce
You just use crushed tomatoes bud.
>>
>>21668402
i know a fancy italian-ish butcher carries a lot of specialty import products, including an expanded range of cento stuff. you may find similar
"fancy meat butcher / market"
