The endeavor to eliminate all ultra-processed foods from my diet is causing me immense anxiety, and it is not due to the fact that they are costly or that I continue to have a craving for sausages or chips. It is really hard to find alternatives. My body is actually healthier, but my mind is broken.
Can I find healthier food in delis in small towns?

It’s not that hard. Buy fresh vegetables and pieces of meat.

Idiot just cook/make those things yourself. The secret and most perfect diet I've come up with is the "cook everything from scratch" diet. If you want chips or sausage you gotta make them yourself. Eat whatever you want, but you MUST ALWAYS make it from scratch.

>costly
Nigga wut?
Processed food is way more fucking expensive than unprocessed. 5lbs of potatoes costs about the same as a 5.5oz tube of Pringles. Fuck outta here with your retardation, you fucking retard.

Exactly. Folks ask me and the wife how we stay [relatively] trim now that we're middle-aged millennials despite drowning everything in oil and butter and that's likely the reason. The fact that I do a 5k most mornings probably helps, too, but I think it's the fact that the vast majority of what we eat are whole, mostly plant-based foods.

I don't think you know what ultra processed means. Sausage is just pork and salt/spices and chips are just potatoes and salt. Unless you're buying some knock off Walmart trash sausage that's made with textured soy protein or some shit those are both foods with minimal processing.

Ultra processed foods are shit like chicken nuggets or Chick-fil-A sauce (I'm cherry picking) that's really just oil.

Just mix some ground pork with parsley and thyme and shit and make little turds. Cut up some taters too. I doubt raw grocery store sausages or fries are that bad though
