Whatever happened to good old sausage pizza? That was my topping of choice when I was a kid, not pepperoni. I preferred the crumbled kind (not the rabbit turds) to the slices, but I preferred both to pepperoni. A good quality sausage beats the pants off pepperoni. Why isn't this more popular?

The issue with sausage pizza is that in some restaurant it turn into a huge sea of fat grease. Other than that, it's superior to pepperoni but I prefer bigger softer pizza so obviously my choice is made from the start.
all pepperoni pizza is sausage pizza but not all sausage pizza is pepperoni pizza
