How do I get water by the gallon without ever interacting with plastic?
>>
make hydrogen and oxygen and put them together.
>>
>>21671498
go to a mountain stream and fill your bottle. all water will travel through plastic no matter what otherwise.
>>
>>21671502
micros in the snow.
>>
Invent a time machine and go back to the time before plastics were invented. There's a spoonful of plastic in your brain already, stupid. You can't escape it no matter what you do.
>>
>>21671501
nice try im not gonna do this and die
>>
>>21671507
What? the most delicious water I ever had was a spring that passed through a glacier
>>
>>21671504
water processing plants have plastic everywhere. the water is filtered through plastic, and travels through plastic pipe.
>>
just get a good filtration system for your tap
>>
Collect rainwater

status: plasticed
>>
>>21671511
i peed at the top of the glacier before you drank it
>>
>>21671581
And guess what? This anon's pee had microplastics in it!
>>
reverse osmosis
distillation if you really want to make sure that shit is 100% de-plasticked

The only actual way is to distill water and add a select amount of minerals to it afterwards. Distilled water contains 0 plastics.
But you might have problems finding minerals that haven't been contaminated by plastics.
A solution would be to stop drinking water at all and instead drink broth cooked from distilled water. That would add minerals to it, but requires significant effort; you'd have to basically cook probably 5l broth every 3-4 days depending on how much water you drink. You could make large amounts but you'd have to pasterize it for it to keep.

Take a pail up the hill
>>
>>21671667
Obviously, the broth ingredients would be contaminated as well.
>>
>>21671667
>muh minerals
minerals from water are so minute that they make no difference at all in your electrolyte balance. you get all of them from food.

tl;dr dinosaurs had their revenge against mammals because we were retards who used their liquified corpses to make everyone gay. The End.

You must first invent the universe.

OP has to eat food anyways so he should be content with this amount of contamination.

Distilled water tastes terrible
>>
>>21671573
drinking rainwater is 1 step above drinking sewer water. it's not even safe to eat snow anymore.
>>
>>21671498
i pour my water from the sink into a glass container to fill up a stainless steel distiller, which distills it into a glass container. then i pour it from that glass container into a glass jug exactly like the one in your OP pic

no plastic, filters out tap water crap, tastes consistently fine

i dont "re-mineralize" my water for taste or anything either, but i've been drinking distilled water my whole life
I'll admit that when i first started drinking distilled water as a kid, i remember it tasted slightly 'off' to me, almost too clean and water-like, if that makes sense. but as an adult that sensation completely went away

i usually drink my water with a meal or a snack anyways so the point is completely irrelevant. not that there's actually anything negative or wrong at all about water with no "added minerals"

hydrogen and oxygen create mustard gas
>>
>>21671916
most people have moderate mineral deficiencies and the occasional person could harm themselves by reducing their mineral intake even further. especially those with poor diets and people who take prescriptions (or recreational drugs) that increase sweating or urine output.
>>
>>21671498
just fill the bottle from your kitchen tap retard.
if you live somewhere poor without good enough water utilities, get a filter
>>
>>21671498
My university has water filters, I take a backpack full of bottles and fill them up since I can't install a filter in the kitchen sink
>>
>>21671514
None of that is true. It's almost certainly a53 pipe, and the strainers are also metal. Any draining is done into plastic though

There's a fountain on this mountain highway about 40 miles from me that all the granola sandal people drive to and fill up.
One of these days I'm going to put down my bong and muster the motivation to be one of those people.
I kind of already am, just even lazier.

Those free flowing springs are awesome. I have one way closer to me and the water is so fucking good
