My mom used make it homemade when I was kid. I have always loved Matzo ball soup+ we had it @ my bar mitzvah. They love it in Israel where my grandparents live.

I have a half Czech half Spanish friend and her grandmother used to make us Knedlíky with beef or pork goulash. I taught her how to make Greek crispy fried zucchini, hope she's doing alright.
