Itt: places that you know quote-unquote EXIST, but you know of no one who's ever eaten there let alone eaten there yourself or even been within 1000 feet of.
>>
>>21673362
Some family members went there and brought up some coconut shrimp. It was quite scrumptious.
>>
Pretty much anything from Darden Group or DINE Brands
>>
I took my grandma there a couple years ago because she really wanted to go
It was too salty
>>
>>21673362
i went there a lot growing up. i really liked their clam chowder.
>>
>>21673362
Golden chick. When put up against churchs, popeyes, and kfc, it doesn't seem like a real place anybody would ever choose.
>>21673377
>Darden Group
Cheddar's was based close to where I grew up, I went there pretty often with family when I was younger and it used to be really good. I went back recently and it fucking sucked though, huge disappointment.
Now I know why, it was bought out by some kike conglomerate.
>>
>>21673362
Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, it’s never seemed fancy to me and I’d never pay the restaurant up charge for a steak
>>
Hooters
>>
>>21673913
your dad probably used to go there and be annoying with the waitresses

Go where... I've never even seen one. As far as I'm concerned Hooters only exists in movies.
>>
>>21673944
They're wings used to be good. Haven't been to one in 10+ years though
>>
>>21673362
White Castle and Mars Bars desu. The thought of eating at a greasy looking place makes me wanna brap my intestines out into a huge pink stocking.
>>
>>21673362
i've never been, but I've heard people say their biscuits are good
>>21673947
it's pretty much the same thing as Krystal, but maybe a little worse

This is my white trash mom's favorite restaurant. She doesn't even know that it isn't considered a real restaurant or that it is low class, and I certainly would never have the heart to tell her. We stop there every time we have to go to the city.
>>
>>21673963
do you live in Mozambique or something
>>
This place is unironcally amazing and I feel bad that I didn't go in its hay day
>>
>>21673954
It's good done correctly but it's a place you gotta look at reviews for individual places because a lot are insanely slow and some are clown shows and if it's not cooked right the buns are waterlogged and gross especially the bottoms
>>
>>21673362
the only person who can see into the future is God, if satin says he knows your future he is LYING to you

is red lobster really becoming an oldfag thing?

THIS PLACE IS GOOD BIG DOG
>>
>>21673362
I took my last exgf to a red lobster for endless shrimp one night. We were stoned as hell and it was a pretty good time.
>>
>>21673362
Red Lobster is alright, my parents used to take me there when I was young. It costs too much for the quality you get and it's usually full of niggers so I refuse to go there of my own accord.
>>
>>21673904
I went to one in Fayetteville, Arkansas. It's not bad, the creamed spinach is particularly good, but yes it's expensive and not at all worth what they're charging. I'd sooner make my own steak and creamed spinach than go back. Service was decent. Some Walton family hanger-on was drunk as fuck when I went and caused a ruckus, but as I understand it that's par for the course in that town. It's totally normal for people to come home and find the drunken failson of a local oligarch sleeping in their bed and they all just have to sit there and take it because they own the whole state. Madness.
>>
>>21673362
Never been in Firehouse subs but heard people talk about it. Never knew they even existed until two years ago. They're apparently all around here.
>>
>>21673362
I've had two friends that worked there for a bit. They are my least favorite friends, too. Could be a correlation
>>
Does no one here take road trips? Red lobster was one of my moms favorite places, along with Applebees. There are dozens of regional chains scattered around the country. Steak and Shake is only in the midwest, UDF is only in Ohio, Wawa is in the northeast and Florida, and so on.
>>
>>21673362
no such place exists. buy an ad.
>>
>>21673362
My wife loves red lobster. I don't like fish.

Applebees, denny's, and ihop, are not very good, but I see them all the time, and know people who eat there. there is no restaurant that fits your troll. anyone who drives through any town in America will pass within 1000 feet of almost any restaurant that exists in their city.
>>
>>21675010
>My wife loves red lobster. I don't like fish.
that's fair. I like the cheddar biscuits.

>>
>>21673362
Red Lobster was the fanciest place in my town. We could only go there on ultra-special occasions like birthdays because it was so expensive. There was usually an hour wait to get seated too.
>>
>>21673947
I went 20 years ago late at night and some dudes had a nigger moment and pulled guns on each other. My friends and I grabbed our stuff and gtfo.

Dont really remember the food all that much
>>
>>21676187
Whoa, they didn't always have Cheddar Bay Biscuits?
>>
>>21674923
>Does no one here take road trips?
waffle house is the GOAT roadtrip stop, red lobster and applebees are trash
>>
>>21673904
being from a lower-middle class family growing up, this place was our holiday-time splurge dinner. i'm a little biased for nostalgia but it's generally a good steakhouse for people looking for something refined without snobbery. as >>21674834 said it's absolutely not worth what they're charging but it certainly isn't awful food either. as a teenager i applied there as a summer job and ended up running food for a few months, staff treated me well and i was able to steal a lot of their desserts (which are very good). the head chef would give me the extra crab cakes at the end of the shift
>>
>>21673904
>Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse
Oh, it's delicious though. New Orleans chain so you get the bread pudding dessert.
The ovens are unique, really screaming hot with all around sear.

>>
East Side Mario's.
>>
>>21673362
I went a while back. It was just bad IMO, but that was years ago.
I don't remember the last time anyone I know has ever eaten at Jack-in-the-Box.
>>
>>21674773

I don't think you understand what you just wrote. You saying places that you know exist, but then you put them in quotes which means that they supposedly exist. you're retarded aren't you.
>>
>>21674192

never happens.

they had the best pizza crust.
>>
>>21678266
discount olive garden. we went one time, it was near closing time so they gave us about 20 bread sticks for free.
>>
why does some midwit always comment on the wings whenever hooters is mentioned
>>
>>21673965
just like /b/ their wings were never good. IDC how much titty you show, if the food sucks, what's the point?
>>
why does some midwit always comment on someone commenting on the wings at hooters?
>>
>>21678292
>they had the best pizza crust.
One of the originals.
If I'm in Chicago, it's hard to be disappointed at the top 5, really. But, it HAS to be sausage.
>>
>>21673362
You've never engaged in the heavenly task of consuming a piping hot, fresh out of the oven, cheesy, fluffy, perfectly cooked Cheddar Bay Biscuit?
>>
>>21676187
I miss when pretty much all restaurant chains leaned into the theme park angle a little bit. Like every chain used to have a little rainforest cafe in it, if you know what I mean. Now it's all streamlined and fake and gay. I guess I'm just articulating the sovl/sovlless thing again but man. Eating out used to be fun and now it's just another thing to be done.

sniffin' my boxers
who the fuck does that
at Red Lobster

>>

A bag containing an undefined number of jacks tacos is a time honored kickback tradition that as adults we are sadly phasing out as we have less time for throwing them
>>
>>21674923
I only done them on the east coast.

I like to think that it's pretty good

I've eaten there once because it was the closest restaurant to my hotel, and it was the shittiest fast food I've ever eaten bar none. I also drive by one during my commute and I can't recall seeing Long John's ever having more then a handful of cars in the lot too, and I can't think of a single coworker or friend getting something from there. I wouldn't be surprised if the chain was a money laundering operation
>>
>>21673913
My first girlfriend wanted to work at hooters but she became a stipper instead and now she's dead.
