Holy fuck... they're finally bringing it back. What made them change is cane sugar more affordable now or something?
There's an implication of national policies not being made in their interest if they don't do the performative kowtow.
>>21673412Does this mean Coca Cola is getting rid of the HFCS version too? If not then this is just bringing back Coca-Cola Life, which flopped.
>>21673412Trump is petty and will do everything possible to fuck them over if they don't lick his taint, but will give large favors to them if they do lick his taint. This has been going on for a decade now, how are you not understanding this?
They'll just stall until the next election cycle. Enjoy your corn syrup, faggots. Screenshot this.
>>21673412This is why I voted trump in.
>>21673449This was earlier this summer. no. not getting rid of HCFS coke just promised to brew batches with sugar so they wouldnt get cancelled by MAGA after Trump senile tweeted about it.
everything is 500% more expensive now but at least the goyslop is made with 1% less goyslop (i dont eat goyslop)
>>21673424This is lib speak for 'we're faggot losers'
Real sugar is cool, but how about an inquiry into why a 12 pack of cans costs $7 now?
>>21673412Can't wait to try coke neo at $3 a can just so I can review it on tiktok.
>>21673501were all going to lose brother you just havent realized it yet.
>>21673412This is a coke marketing scheme. Pepsi came out with a can sugar version a couple years ago and it's been selling very well. Makes the soda less thick.
>>21673412Won't be back until he stops these bullshit attacks on innnocent cocaine traffickers. It's bullshit Tim Allen literally has a show called "Shifting Gears" Kirsti Noem is broad broadcasting commercials telling people crazy shit, and they're bombing coke traffickers and releasing the survivors
>>21673564Water is literally free
>>21673412Are they also going to bottle it in glass?
>>21673930>Makes the soda less thick.hfcs has a little starch in it so that's possible. the only thing i don't really understand is people thinking coke is suddenly going to become a health drink just because it has sugar instead of corn syrup.
>>21673952I've seen it in the fridge at the place by me in 12oz glass bottles, $3 for one
>>21673412What the fuck. How did he placate the corn cartel?
>>21673412Why on earth would someone go on the internet and tell lies?
>>21673412>That'll be $19.99 plus tax and tip ;)Woah thanks Blumpf....
>>21674318Don't worry it's still covered by SNAP lard ass.
Now remove sneed oils and preservatives from store brought foods, oh wait, you won't.
>>21674323Are you serious? Wasn't there some hoopla about how SNAP was no longer going to cover junk food? Did they go back on that?
there is no difference between sugar cane and HFCS at a chemical level once it is added to the acidic cola. the difference in taste between mexican coke and regular coke is more likely another ingredient difference or even the water used.
Bring back the original recipe!
>>21674486
>>21674465that's not totally true. in cane sugar the fructose and glucose are chemically bonded, they aren't in HFCS.
>>21674465things treated with enzymes can sometimes develop slightly off flavors. lactose-free milk or oatmilk have off tastes to some people because the lactase or whatever they use in oatmilk to turn the starch into sugar creates off flavors. the same might happen with corn starch being turned into corn syrup whereas refined sugar typically has a fruity smell and taste. though i've never tasted straight corn syrup to really know.
>>21674465retard alert
>>21674610I have, it tastes like cornAlso it dries into these long-ass spikes that will fillet you if you if you approach it the wrong way
Is there a new label or something? What should I look for?>>21673930Pepsi has actually been doing this for over 15 years with various labels. But it is only a side product and not replacing the production line from HFCS to cane sugar.
>>21673412That’s my president getting the big things done! Don’t care about the government shutdown, Ukraine, or the Epstein files
>>21673412Ironic since cane sugar was the hfcs before hfcs existed. Low quality slop sugar that could be grown in much larger quantities than the wholesome and healthy beet sugar.
>>21673412Don't hold your breath. He just says shit and then nothing happens.Never says anything about those Epstein files though.
>>21674465>sugar cane and HFCSWRONG! sugar is burned by the body for fuel. HFCS is converted to fat by the liver and stored.
>>21673412>What made them changeBootlicking
>>21674812>it tastes like cornno it does not.
>>21675212>the wholesome and healthy beet sugarthere is no such thing as "wholesome" or "healthy" sugar of any kind.
>>21673412isnt america making the corn? isnt it tropical countries making the sugar? what is trump thinking??
>>21675224do you consider honey to be sugar? people have always highly valued that and thought it was good for you. blaming sugar when people today have poor diets in general and there are a ton of other various issues is misplaced.
>>21675404>The USA makes more refined sugar than corn syrup, although both are produced in significant quantities. The country has a large sugarcane and sugar beet industry, which together produce about 9.0 million short tons of raw value sugar annually, as reported by USDA. While high-fructose corn syrup (HFCS) was a dominant sweetener, its use has declined, and refined sugar production is now higher than refined corn syrup production
>>21673412we already had this it's called:>buy coke zero>add 5 sugar packetswhy are they RUINING America?
>>21675426>do you consider honey to be sugar?Honey is mainly fructose (41% of sugars) and glucose (36%) (table), with remaining sugars including galactose, maltose, and sucrose, each supplying 3% or less of total sugarstable sugar is about 50-50 glucose fructoseHFCS is about 45% glucose 55% fructose.so yes honey is 80% sugar which makes it sugar, and more in line with HFCS.no sugar is wholesome and healthy. humans are not evolved to eat large amounts of sugar regularly. fruits in pre agricultural times had low amounts of sugar, and honey was hard to find, and wild pre agricultura bees did not produce tons of honey.
>>21675426sugar is the most addictive substance on the planet. it is the one food item that our brains will never turn down. we can eat it and eat it and eat it, and never be sated. you can blame peoples self control all you want, but that does not change that sugar IS NOT GOOD FOR YOU IN LARGE QUANTITIES. large quantities is the amount of sugar that is in modern engineered fruits.
>>21674323Because of the shut down SNAP won't be funding cards after Halloween. So no, it won't be covered. Teehee.
your country is very silly
>>21673571How? Trump has only done good so far.
>>21675201>UkraineNot my heckin hohols and ziggers!!!
>>21677228>and honey was hard to findhunter-gatherers today will eat between 50-250g of sugar from honey daily, they don't seem to have much trouble finding it. sugar only became an issue in modern developed countries when people were already metabolically unhealthy and having blood sugar issues but that's not necessarily being caused by the sugar itself>>21677237>and never be satedi don't think that's true? i find it hard to overconsume fruit and lemonade and things like that.now yeah you make some chocolate chip cookies or something and i'll have a harder time being satiated by that but just sugary stuff doesn't make me excessively crave more and more.
now if only we can get them to stop using aluminum cans and plastic bottles and only use glass.
>People are still falling for it.
>>21678019No hunter gatherer eats 250g honey each day. It used to be even more expensive/rare than nowAnd wild honey isn't like mass produced honey. A lot of it is very watery (25%-50% sugar vs regular honey at 80%) and has significantly more contamination with bees and larvae.
