>hmm what if we bought the smallest cheapest locations, put a single minimum wage worker in them, and charged $15 for a mediocre sandwich

and somehow it actually worked
>>

stop it
>>
How is Subway still working? Why would you go eat a mostly regular sandwich when you can eat many other things that are more tasteful like pizzas, burgers, hot dogs and many more? And it's not cheap either.
>>
>>21673427
every subway is run by indians now

Immigrants get government loans to open businesses. Subway is one of the easiest to start up.

Brand legacy.
Subway is dying out though because the people that are used to buying footlongs for lunch when they still had an edge are retiring and they no longer need to buy lunch.
Subway used to have it's time and place before >inflation
>standardization
>market overcrowding
>to an extent, food delivery apps
thoroughly fucked all the businesses in the fast food industry and and you genuinely used to get your money's worth and a decently filling and healthy sandwich for just about what you'd expect if you bought the ingredients yourself + gave a generous tip for whoever assembled the sub for you. That's what Subway was, it was the homemade lunch for people who didn't have wives to make the lunch for them or who didn't have the time to make it themselves.

Regular people were getting a sandwich there in their break from work? Isn't that too expensive to do everyday? Bringing food from home is much cheaper.
>>
>>21673667
Back then the average buying power (salary vs. price of goods) was on a whole different level, yeah it was still cheaper to do it yourself but the difference just wasn't significant enough for it to really matter to the average construction worker, beat cop, warehouse worker, whatever the hell the average joe did.

5 dollar footlongs were a thing in like 2015

In general Subway had an excellent value proposition at that time. I remember here in UK there being 4 pound footlongs.

Ready to made sandwhiches are also a lot better now than 10-15 years ago.
>>
>>21673441
For the price of a single footlong I can get deli meat and cheese and bread that will last me 3-5 days depending how often I eat it
>but what if I don't want it for 3-5 days
This is why you retards are poor. My weekly eating is 100% determined on what is on sale at the grocery store. 2 pounds of chicken breasts for $7 well guess I am eating chicken this week.
>>
I thought you guys were joking but no a Subway sub near me is like 17 bucks, what the fuck?

there is a subway here with a female employee who isn't from india. she looks probably puerto rican and i swear she is the sexiest woman i've ever seen in my life
she is a little hairy and maybe too short but she has an unbelievable shape
>>
my local subway has a black, a nonbinary (fat woman), and an old lady
I have never seen the owner, and the clientele are not the usual poos you see hanging around subways franchised by jeets, but a mix of everyone in the area

I consider going there all the time but I stopped getting coupons in the mail & there's a cheba hut a few miles in the opposite direction

fr... They run bogo and bogo half off specials regularly through their app. It's still a good option sometimes. Went recently and it was $10+ for a footlong tuna, but they had pepsi zero sugar on tap and it was delicious.

>hats tipped back above hairline
>all 3 wearing visible necklaces
I wouldn't tip these people if they were white

>cheba hut
>"a cannabis-themed restaurant franchise-chain"

How embarrassing. Personally I prefer restaurants that have a theme like "good food at affordable prices", but hey, DUDE WEED amirite? Plus you know you can trust a place whose key demographic is "people so high they will literally eat food out of the garbage when they get the munchies".
>>
>>21673427
That's what happens when you're targeting mentally retarded, fat, lazy manchildren (aka Murricans)
>>
>>21676086
who are you quoting?
you seem really upright, dude. Maybe some weed and a toasted sub will calm you down a bit?
>>

>he thinks he is rich because he is scrounging for discount food
what a fucking retard. You either exploit others or remain poor, no amount of discounts will make you rich.
>>
>>21673427
The sandwiches used to be good back in the day.
>>
>>21673441
it's honestly the only place open at 4AM here
mcdonalds close at 10
even 7-11s and gas stations close at 12
denny's and ihops are sit down diners and don't count

The one thing I'll give Subway is that, if you're unfortunate enough to live in an area with no Italian sandwich shops, you can still get a meatball sub at Subway.
>>
They have good locations though. What a weird complaint.
>>
Reminder that every location has insurance against chip theft. Get yourself some crunch if you're gonna be paying all that for a sando.
>>
>>21673427
>and somehow it actually worked
Because their only competition is gas stations that charge you $9 for a PB&J or Ham & Cheese you could've made at home
>>
>>21673658
>>21673441
These, also the main reason people went to Subway was you could get a footlong for $5.
It was mathematically the 2nd cheapest food-for-volume of any fast food apart from Dominos $5 large pizzas.

Both of those chains are currently dying off because they jacked up their prices and made their products worse, then scratch their heads wondering why Mr Shecklestein their accountant gave them bad advice for $150/hour.
>>
I still get subway 2-3x a week for lunch. The six inch is $3.99 with the app. Fits my macros great. It’s way cheaper than trying to keep all that crap fresh in the fridge, not even talking about the bread situation. Subway is underrated.

Is Jared still getting dicked up the ass by Tyrone and Gerald or is he released?

Grim but accurate

""Italian"" you mean, don't know why you faggots think faggots are supposed to go into Italian dishes.

Probably both.
