Hi /ck/, do any of you have any cooking/food/nutrition related careers or is this simply a hobby for you?I am personally unsatisfied with IT and have been considering becoming a nutritionist.
>>21674025>Cooking & eating food>Hobby
>>21674032Sorry, I had desserts in mind when I was thinking "hobby".I did not mean to disrespect the importance of nutrition.
>>21674025>considering becoming a nutritionistdid you get inspired to help fat people
>>21674025>nutritionistGreat choice if you're a retarded woman who wants to LARP as a doctor, but you're too stupid to be a PA/nurse and too fat to do sports medicine.
>>21674025It's a hobby for me. I worked in foodservice when I was in high school and college, because I wasn't a cute girl who could get easy money by wiggling her ass/jiggling her tits/spreading her legs>>21674140Sports medicine doctors are doctors though
>>21674025>I am personally unsatisfied with IT.Same bro. I'm 45 and I'm tired of this shit. Corporate life sucks too. Jump ship. I'm thinking of doing the same.
>>21674025I cook nearly everything I eat from scratch including even basic things like tortillas so I'd say it's more than a hobby. I don't do anything food related for a living though, but I have a few recipes I may try to produce commercially someday.
>>21674140Its absurd that someone actually censored that image
>>21674374Here's the original, you thirsty architect son of a bitch. If you're lucky Courtney is still single, try looking her up on r/HealthyAtAnySize.
>>21674035OK, fair enough.
>>21674025Just a hobby. The “Dietician and Nutritionist” median wage is higher than I expected ($73k):https://www.bls.gov/ooh/Healthcare/Dietitians-and-nutritionists.htm
>>21674025I cook as a hobby because a career in food service is awful unless you claw your way to the very top. I draw as a hobby because even before AI, art as a career was always a dubious prospect. I have a job that I enjoy which pays my bills well and I let my passions be passions instead of tying my income to them.
if you're becoming a nutritionist, most of the people you'll work with are gonna be fat, and they need to lose weightyou can't tell them to drink hard liquor and go to bed without dinner, but that's actually the way to lose weightIf that confuses them tell them to make dinner, get drunk, and go to bed, then eat their previous dinner for breakfast
