found this brand (from Thomasville, GA) and gonna put it on bread and such. discuss pimento cheese. I know Palmetto is supposed to be the big one but it ain't around here.
>>21674962why would you make a sandwich with just a spread as filling
It's pretty good imo. Apparently it's a traditional thing for spectators at the Master's golf tournament in Georgia.

>>21674573>I know Palmetto is supposed to be the big one but it ain't around here. It's only "acceptable" to me, but not really that awesome. Chicken salad chick added it to the menu, and I know Chick Fila had a honey chicken glazed breast last year with a layer of pimento cheese. My favorite little deli in South Miami used to add it to a BLT sandwich that subbed fried green tomatoes.I recommend you try making it yourself. It's a pretty good end-of-the-week pantry sandwich plan at my house. I keep a small jar of pimentos, and extra sharp cheddar in the block form, for this emergency recipe. Black pepper, mayo and your own grated shreds, sweet onion to taste, and it's done. In recent years I add a bit of cream cheese to help the spreadability.
>>21675176Whoa was that CFA pimento thing nationwide?
>>21674573There's a cheese shop near me with its own brand, not sure if it's any good though.
