Examples, putting honey on fried chicken or pizza. Honey is something I top my breakfast oatmeal with, or add into my tea. Why on Earth would I put it on my dinner? And yes I have tried it, and no it does not work.

Indoctrinated to be fat cunts. Why do you care? I couldn't be fucked to even think of them, why do you? Ghey maybe? i.e. love circumcised cocks?
>>
>>21678145
>Why do you care?
I care because I don't think American people deserve to be experimented on by the slop conglomerates.
>>
>>21678141
Some of the oldest recipes for savory foods from all over the world frequently call for honey and fruit to be added.
>>
>>21678170
Were any of them honey on pizza and fried chicken?
>>
>>21678188
Some ancient Roman recipes were pretty similar, yes.

You call your takeout dinner?

I relegate honey to the crust, it has no right coexisting with other toppings
>>
>>21678240
I dislike having sticky fingers, couldn't you just dip the crust in a side of honey?

I'm gonna guess it's partly because our supermarket food has been infused with sugar for so long that we're conditioned to want it way more than we should. Even our fucking bread is more like cake than bread.

If I'm drizzling sauce onto pizza it better damn well be savory.
>>
>>21678242
That's exactly what I do
>>
>>21678245
I ate Papa John's once and it tasted like illness and grease

>I ruin my tea with honey
You're part of the problem and you don't even realize it.
>>
>why are some humans addicted to one of the most addictive substances on the planet!?
retard. you're just so fucking retarded.
>>
>>21678334
I normally drink my tea and coffee without any additives or sweeteners. However, if I have a cold, I will make tea with lemon and ginger and a spoonful of honey is very nice. Honey also has antimicrobial properties than can help sooth a sore throat. So no, I am not part of the problem, you are part of the problem. Problem causing cunt.
>>
>>21678336
Normal human beings do not slather their chicken with honey, you are mentally unsound if you do.
>>
Pizza already has tomato, a fruit, loaded with sugar

>>21678340
Chinese slather their duck with maltose, not that you know what that is you fucking cooklet pleb
>>
>>21678141
Government subsidized and heavily pushed in ads. Aka propaganda.
>>
>addicts are mentally unsound
yes. dumbass nigger retard
>>
>>21678338
How often are you sick that you consider this worth bringing up? It seems like you're trying to make excuses since someone has called you out, anon
>>
>>21678341
>Chinese
I said normal human beings you illiterate fuck. People who eat animals still breathing and poach pangolins for their scales because they think it'll make their penises larger don't count.
>>21678351
Once a year, and there is nothing wrong with putting honey in tea. Not even in the same ballpark as putting honey on pizza, you absolute charlatan.
>>
>>21678141
Honey on pizza is hot spicy honey on pepperoni, or honey on a pizza with goat cheese and figs. It's not that unusual a food pairing. It's obviously on menus to make a certain kind of person order it. I am positive it's people who dine out often, drink with their meal and are good customers, or else they would fall off the menu.

OP is
>stop liking what I don't like, whaa
>>
>>21678367
>goat cheese and figs
>pizza
into the trash it goes, along with you
>>
>>21678145

I can't believe how indoctrinated am*ricans are when it comes to literally mutilating their own cocks. Literally having part of their dick chopped off, and in the process losing 80% of the pleasure sensation. #hoodedandproud

I've tried one of those "cowboy beans" recipe and it was just sugar over sugar. Adding ketchup over tomato sauce and still putting brown sugar in it. Saddest meal i've ever had.

>honey garlic chicken is an atrocity but loading up your tea with sugar isn't
Nice bait op

>>21678141
Actually it's not common in America at all. You can tell by Americans' negative reactions to Korean pizza, which uses honey far more frequently. I made some myself just to try it, honey and gorgonzola, was not bad but not something you want more than one slice of. The only regularly available honey pizza I know of in the US is a frozen brand that has a hot honey pepperoni flavor.

Honey on pizza was starting to turn into a big meme in the late 00s when roberta's in brooklyn did it. It got famous enough that the clintons went there and that got them on the radar of the pizzagate people and they kinda kept a lower profile after that

You still see a few hipstered up places doing it as an homage but it was kind of killed before it could became a meme because of crazy rightwing basement dwellers
>>
>>21678141
Unironically I’m a frozen pizza connoisseur and the only one in my supermarket that comes with the “honey drizzle” packet is also the only one that says “imported from Italy” on the box
>>
Hot honey on pizza is a relatively recent fad and I don't care for it. Honey on fried chicken is delicious though.
>>
>>21678170

more like hot honey NIGGERS lol

They didn't have cars back then.

They also probably had the same food fads as this insipid "hot honey" garbage back then too.

If Americans actually do goat cheese with honey pizza, they will gain 1 point in my cooking tier list (they really need that point)
>>
>>21678141
>Why do humans like sweets so much?
fixed that for you. moron.
>>
>>21678141
Hot honey is just a gay-ass mass market forced meme trying to be the next sriracha.
>>
>>21678769
We do, Colorado-style pizza is always served with honey
>>
>>21678141
>Americans like sweets
I've never been to America nor do I know anything about the culture outside of what the internet has conveyed to me. I've heard terrible stories about their bread tasting like cheap cake and I have tried a twinkie once and it tasted awful. I've heard about food deserts in america and that many people there are poor or on the brink of homelessness. It sounds like a 3rd world country. Maybe they put extra butter and sugar in their food because these things just don't go bad and they can't afford to drive six hours along their bleak country roads to buy expensive fresh fruits and vegetables. Also, what if they get shot at the mall or robbed by the police on the way? Maybe the stress from living there also makes them crave sugar more.
Idk, america sounds like hell, I never hear anything good about it.

kind of like hearing from an American then.
>>
>>21678141
adding sweet ingredients to a savory dish doesn't make it a sweet. A sweet is a treat or dessert, not something you have for dinner.
>>
>>21678602
A couple spoons of honey every few months when I make honey garlic chicken is probably more than tripling my regular consumption, but including even half a spoon of that stuff in my tea would be magnitudes more. Stop projecting and work on your moderation if you think this kind of thing is a problem. Also if your tea tastes better with sugar in it just get better tea or stop drinking it, have some self respect.
>>
>>21678525
How can it be delicious? It seems so strange, like the sweetness of the honey would completely overpower the chicken. It seems more like a dessert than a main course.
>>
>>21678836
>Im gonna say what America is like while ignoring what actual Americans say about America, ill just base my opinions on memes
You are dumb
>>
>>21680306
Its delicious because sweet and savory go well together.
Chocolate covered pretzels
Prosciutto and cantaloupe
Pancakes and bacon
French toast and sausage
Nuts and yogurt or ice cream
among other examples
