For me, if I am in any gas station but Casey's its the over done roller dogs that have been on the roller all day. I like them brown, with a slight bit of crispiness to them. Then I top them with a generous amount of relish, mustard, ketchup, and jalapenos if they have them.

If I am at Casey's, it's always their pizza, especially in the morning for their breakfast pizza.

To drink it is always a big and tall coke slushi.

They dont have a Bucce's in my area yet, but I imagine when they do my go to order will change when I can get that brisket everyone loves.

Do they have gas station food in places like Europe and Japan or anywhere else? What kind of food do they serve? Is it good?

the only time I have eaten at a gas station in the last 13 years was when I had to drive on christmas day in 2012, and those where the only places open in BFE nevada.

Its ass in germany, only overpriced dry pastries and sanwiches youd get cheaper and actually edible at a super market. Ik like one dude who actually goes to a gas station just for the food.

Grabbed two dogs and a drink from quik trip before an all day outdoor concert last summer

if you like overcooked cheap meats, it's because you were raised in poverty

i don't eat at gas stations because i am not poor

Marlboro reds and an energy drink.

Overpriced potato chips after they force me to pay for the bathroom but give me a discount on the products in return, so that I'm made to believe it balances out.
I don't go to gas stations for anything other than using their bathroom. The pastries aren't any good and everything is overpriced too.
I bring my own food on long trips anyway.

Very true, can confirm. The bathrooms at gas stations in Germany are usually free at least, I've only encountered paid ones in the Netherlands. They did have nicer bathrooms though and they were still cheaper and had better coupons (no minimum purchase price) than the paid bathrooms at German train stations...

>charging to use the bathroom

From my American perspective that's weird because here gas stations are known for having easily accessible public bathrooms. It's part of the draw to bring you into the store to buy snacks and drinks after filling up your fuel outside. Most people pay with a debit or credit card now, so it cuts down on the reasons to go inside. That and lotto tickets.

Though this can be different in high crime areas with certain demographics.

The only other cuntries I've pumped gas in besides USA #1 are Canada (same as here), Mehico (I don't remember there being food), France (no food), and Switzerland (there was food, it wasn't memorable).

But poor people invent the best foods and then we richies appropriate it. Generations from now, snooty restaurants will serve sumptuous and avant garde dishes based on cheddar cheese combos, roller dogs, slim jims, and sour patch kids. And our great grandkids, on future 4chan, will argue with bots and each other over whether this is cultural appropriation.

The last time I had hot food from a gas station (I'm not going to count 7-11 in Hawaii because that's more like Japan and is decent food) was hungover as shit/still drunk on the way to a Cardinals game at a QuikTrip like a decade ago, and I had like, a buffalo chicken taquito. I pretty much don't eat from gas stations, it's awful.

Where I live, pretty much no one is going to stop at a gas station for food because there's at least fast food or something else nearby and it's a driving city, so the food just sits and gets stale.

Maybe if I lived somewhere that the food was fresher and we had a Wawa or something, I'd do it, but basically everything here has been out under a heat lamp for 10 hours.

Depends which one you go to. The best get really fancy, the worst are fucking grim.
If you're in the UK, the best are Tebay and Gloucester, good enough that it makes up for the horribly expensive fuel prices there.

Got introduced to Speedway when my company started flying me to Michigan. I enjoyed their pizza (breakfast > regular kind), chicken tenders, and chicken biscuit. Got a cheeseburger once and it tasted exactly like what I remembered from grade school so that was fun.

Breakfast pizza and whatever galon-of-sugar-water they have on fountain.

Wawa soft pretzel, packet of mustard, iced tea or frozen coffee or matcha. They are actually good for healthy people, you can grab a whole banana, hard boiled egg, and good yogurt. They tend to have amazing brewed coffee flavors too.

Everywhere else, usually a coke "slurpee" and some kind of seasonal chocolate edition of m&ms.

Bucee's orginal fudge w/walnuts and praline fudge (these will be enjoyed later in my hotel room cold from the fridge), bohemian garlic beef jerky, Dr Pepper slurpee. If I'm starving, a "sliced" brisket sandwich and the freshly made hot potato chips. I have only been there 4 times.

is that a goyslop dispensary called "girth"?

I once bought an energy bar at a gas station while driving long distance at 4AM, that's about it.
>>
>>21678714
i consciously avoid buying good from travel plazas and convenience stores because i work construction with guys who spend $15-25 a day on snacks n cigs. just doesnt feel sustainable, if im real burnt i'll get coffee and a bread, or steak taquitos and an energy drink. always comes out to under $5 and sugars me through the rest of the day. pizza and beer if im staying at a hotel which isnt often, but theres something comforting about travel plazas to americans, theyre always open, always staffed an clean, usually sell alcohol, and always have cheap trashy food.

A gas station about ten minutes away from my house sells beer and liquor and also has an amazing deli. Their pastrami sandwich with grilled onions is one of the best things I've ever eaten.
If I'm getting food at a regular gas station, I usually stick to the baked goods, so I'll get a donut or a muffin.

For me it's Sheetz, and for me at Sheetz it's the Big Mozz Burger or the App Sampler. Maybe a Vitamin Water, maybe a fountain drink. Bag of Salsitas.
I don't mind QuikTrip but they're overpriced. Their pizza mogs Sheetz and they have a roller grill which is nice, but last time I stopped there I paid like $12 for two taquitos, a slice, and an overly-sweetened bottle of tea. I hear they've got the fancy new tea fountains now so that might be better for the sweetness. But yeah, hate the prices there, Sheetz is cheap by comparison.
Love's and Pilot are great if they aren't too heavily trafficked but I hate having to navigate their parking lots... Pilot has better food generally. Their deal on two slices and a soda for $8 is really good though.
Only other "nice" places around me are the new-build 7-Elevens and Circle Ks, and as we know their food still sucks cocks.

Maybe it's because they're all former Hess stations on the East Coast, but I have never seen a Speedway that looked like I wanted any part of their food.

I have an addiction to the shitty bbq pork rib sandwiches from Kwik trip. I get two of them and a faygo moon mist for lunch every day
>>
Depends, if in the Midwest pizza and tendies are pretty good options. Breakfast sandwiches are normally good too. For drinks, a canned coffee or a gatorade depending on what I need.

If on the west coast with their significantly more limited options, I like taquitos. Really the only good thing at the 7-11

pork stickers with golden bbq sauce at sheetz
