Be me, 2 years ago.

>see burnt up sticky wok in recycling around back
>put in backpack
>go home and clean up with steel wool

Still use the thing years later and it's fine, just one indentation on the rim where the poor chinaman would work his spatula from every night.

Best dishes from a wok, other uses, general ect.

I have the cheapest wok I could find on Amazon at the time, I think it was 9 dollars.
It was covered in a thick layer of lacquer that when I burned it off caught fire.
Thankfully I have a 120k BTU wok burner so I heated it until it was red hot so as to not worry about any residual chemicals or oil from the factory.

Bought it from a website based in Taiwan, I made a little cart for it and the propane tank it runs on so it's easier to move around outside.

The bottom is fucked, black burnt chips scrape off onto my stove every time I use it. The pan face is clean and seasoned though. I have no idea why he threw it out.
