The pizza isn't top-tier or anything but serviceable. What you really want are the Pokey Stix, their version of cheesy breadsticks. And ranch. Pepperoni rolls too. Basically their sides are way better than their pizza but the pizza isn't the worst.

If a pizza appears in a tv show, film, or cartoon, it's one of those two. I order just one. If it isn't good, I never order from that place again. If they can't get the default basic pizza right I will not trust them to get any other type correct.

I have family there, I went to school nearby, its a ton of fun and the food is great.However, people from there, or who have lived there, can be insufferable to hang out with because they compare EVERYTHING to there, always negatively. Especially Pizza. My cousin does this- We are taking the kids to the botanical garden for an afternoon, you don't have to bring up how much better the japanese garden you have in Park Slope is to the one in Minnesota. The ones that moved away are especially bad- its clear they're licking their wounds from getting chased out by the cost of living. I'm a socal transplant in the midwest and I don't need to let the home grown midwesterners know how much better the food options were back in Orange County every single time we eat out. It really throws a blanket on the conversation- we are out having a good time, who cares about restaurants 1500 miles away.
